Guys, you supposed to put in dry uncooked rice! not into a pot of cooked rice!!!!

dry rice acts as a dessicant, same like those moisture absorbent Thirsty Hippo or silica gel.

I once dropped my ipod into the drain. shook out as much water as possible.

DO NOT power on the device, it'll cause short circuit.

put device in container of uncooked rice or other dessicant.

Then wait. I waited like 3 days, and ipod could be turned on no issue, no damage whatsoever.

for device with removable battery, remove the battery a.s.a.p
