QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Sep 26 2014, 04:43 PM) Is screen size is not the concern S4 is still a very good phone but there are better and cheaper non samsung phone out there but you need to search your own. Hehe, its for my dad so I don't want him to rely on me for support. Yeah I am aware of other brand phones, but talk about phones with good support, I can only see Samsung and Sony, thanks!Looks like you have budget and why not go for non samsung... just my 2 cents... |

Nope. Tizen OS isn't out on the market yet.
My S4 battery is more than a year old already. Is there a good replacement for battery out in the e-market? Anker 2600maH? OEM Battery 2600maH? Zerolemon 3000maH? I heard the OEM batt sold in ebay are all fake irregardless of the seller saying it's genuine. |

My S4 somewhat died yesterday, and it wasn't anything to do with the OS. Not sure what happened, but when I turned it off due to low battery and attempted to charge it with the adapter, the screen shows the battery icon for several seconds and just turns black.
Took out the battery but it didn't work. No signs of bloat. Now I'm stuck with a "bricked" phone. This post has been edited by UserU: Sep 27 2014, 12:41 PM |

Could be a failed charger, cable or battery. Make sure you try swapping these out first.Took out the battery but it didn't work. No signs of bloat. Now I'm stuck with a "bricked" phone. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 27 2014, 12:43 PM) Charger works fine along with the cable I tested on a powerbank I have. However I don't have a spare battery so I guess I've to buy it. :/ UPDATE: A miracle happened; took out the battery, held onto the POWER+HOME for several seconds, placed the battery back in and voila! QUOTE(UserU @ Sep 27 2014, 03:15 PM) I've used it on my previous phone, battery drain was way worse than my phone's. I find it a rip-off. Same to me when i first got my hands on it, the battery just soo worst. Then i claimed for warranty, did some spoof story until the seller decided to do one-to-one warranty exchange, and after that bamm. Its up and running better than stock |
