I got myself Samsung S4 i9500 a week ago. Its on latest Android 4.4.2 firmware. The battery is draining quite fast and im planning to install custom ROM like UnCharted ROM V2. IS there any way i can try flashing custom ROM without tripping the KNOX counter or voiding warranty?

Guys, I have a problem with my WhatsApp. I don't think the solutions in Google are reliable so I've resorted to asking here.

Well, I'm actually not receiving any messages from my friends unless I launched the app and that is when the messages will start coming in. However, the time shown will be the time they sent that message. (ie. they sent at 4pm but when I open my whatsapp at 6pm and received their message, it will show that their message is sent at 4pm)

I've tried rebooting my phone and reinstalled my WhatsApp, checked background settings and even tried clearing cache for it. Any other person here encountered this frustration before?

Hi Guys, couldn't resist it already and finally got the Galaxy S4 Black Edition which is supposed to be limited to replace my S4 Mini. Love the all black colour and trims as well as the wallpapers and the Leather back cover. However, I do have one dissapointment. Being the latest and last edition to the S4 family, the Black Edition actually came in I9500 which comes with Exynos 5 Octa 5410 CPU. My only qualms is that it only supports 3G and no LTE.  What an utter dissapointment for me. I chose to buy an SME set because of warranty reasons and now I feel cheated as I should have got the LTE version which is supposed to be the I9505.  Heard AP sets are all I9505. Anyway, my mistake for not checking properly when I bought it.

I'm gonna get this phone today as company phone.

I know for my iPhone they recommend to fully discharge and recharge once a month, my Galaxy S+ need to recalibrate the battery counter chip every year like that. Just want to know about this S4.
