1)When you perform a hard reset, the phone will automatically reloads its original FW. So the region your type of fw depends on where your phone originates from.

2)Yes, if not necessary, just ignore Samsung links as it brings along a lot of unused apps.

3) No matter if you backup and do a complete restore, some apps are resetted and you will need to set it up again.

It just wont restore everything to exactly the way it was before.

If apps are not used, you can try disabling it to free up memory.

A complete reset will make the phone feels like new. Like bringing a new leash of life to it. thumbup.gif

GPS tracking is a bit hard in some areas and under bad weather condition. Happen to me as well during these few days.
