I just started experimenting. So far pedometer is not accurate.

Its supposedly meant for fun and reference only. Not meant for the serious athlete.

Out of curiosity, anyone here uses the s health app on your s4?
I just started using it ever since i got the phone last year.
It is a waste of time and battery?
*
Didn't use it. Prefer to use RunKeeper during my jogs. Didn't bother with the pedometer.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 20 2014, 12:46 PM)
Question is, does it works for you? I seldom uses it coz I find it a hassle to carry the phone in my pocket when Im exercising/running.
*
Pedometer can be used daily during normal walking smile.gif

Turn the phone completely off. Press & Hold power button for more than 10sec.

Boot into recovery? Press & Hold [Power+VolumeUP+Home] until phone vibrates/boot logo appear then release Power Button only. Once in recovery, Wipe Dalvik/Cache (stock recovery got this option), if problem still exists, just Factory Reset in recovery

thanks, cannot get into recovery at all

could it be the power button is stuck somehow, making it keep re-booting

Could be that too but you may check it first, pull out battery, plug in Charger, then turn on if can. This is the old method not sure it still works with smartphone

Not the power button. The phone is stuck in the reboot loop. Try restoring from kies in your pc when everything else fails.

never used kies, anyway managed to fix issue by knocking slightly both sides of the power switch with a dry cell and magically can reboot normally thumbup.gif

Even Nexus 6's own version is buggy. Better adopt the wait and see approach. laugh.gif

S6 is coming out in February 2015. Guess the s4 is nearing its end of lifecycle already.
