though in CASE it doe happen you need to weld some plate under the battery part

AFAIK, XTM battery position is not 90 degree, more like 75 degree angle, don't ask me why sweat.gif

bikers, why is a super sport bike is not suitable for a long ride?

Is it because of the engine, or the riding position?
I'm planning to get a bike..Riding from KL - JB - KL every week..I like a super sport type, but having a concern here.

I'm not that rich, so eyeing on a KTM RC 390.

do inspect every part of your motorcycle

check for any sign of rust

check your fork for any sign of leaking or uneven level

check your master brake pump and your rear brake pump (usually like a small bottle) look for any sign of defect/rust/leaking

check your tire, make sure the air is right amount

since your bike using carburetor, alway ALWAYS WARM UP THE ENGINE FIRST, ESPECIALLY DURING BREAKING PERIOD

oh also check your engine oil level

and check your wiring, one of many chinese motorcycle problem is low quality wiring and poor QC

your XTM has oil level on the right side of the engine, you can't miss it. It's just below the kick starter

anyway those wiring, just make sure you inspect before you leave the shop

any slight cut or tangle ask them change, it's under warranty and you have all the right to demand to fix it
