harlow guys,

long time no update. anyway i'm selling slotted n cross drilled disc brake for our honda city/jazz. Good for those who want to improve the braking of our sluggish brakes. Can go to the Automotive garage sale for more info. Safety first!

"Generally ATF cooler is to keep gearbox long life and keep ATF at optimum
temperature so won't cause oil seal and cluth wear off easily . Current
design is keep ATF flow thru radiator to release heat but there is not a
effective way to keep ATF at optimum temp . That is a cut cost method !!!
External ATF cooler is much more better than that ."

all depends on you la bros. if you're worried about warranty issues then best dont install any third party stuff.

Cut cost method is your current setup IMHO. you're using the radiator to cool off your gearbox.

So I'll add in another cooler n route it to bypass the new cooler b4 going back to the gearbox inlet. Theres no side effect installing it so no harm done. gearbox operates at optimum temperature. Google up about this and you'll see quite alot of ppl install them. Some feel smoother gear change n better acceleration while some dont feel any gain. just like your VS. hehe.

There are already a few cases where the CVT is starting to give problem after the warranty period over. The infamous vibration. So i rather spend a few hundred on this to prolong my gearbox. How true issit will remain to be seen/proved. I rev up quite often so thats another reason to get this.

Hayden coolers are popular worldwide.

Roy : im using volvo OEM gearbox cooler. not the pajero oil coolers.

Recently only. I have member already installed for a year. I got mine from chop shop. Like new. You gotta go there yourself to choose. Only during the initial installation need to topup slightly the CVTF. after that maintanence free. Just change the CVTF according to the service plan. every 20k. brows.gif

How much you bought your cooler leh? Why you only choose Volvo Oem and not Pajaro or any other brand?

How much is the new cooler cost? If the price is not much different from chop shop, then should consider to install new one.

Mine City Vtec only 2 months old, should I install it now or later? After more mileage?

replacing to a bigger sized rim would make it even worse because bigger rims uses thinner tire profiles. much more bumpy.
