General Information
Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is often use for pest control, pets, farming and gardening and many more. It can be used for many purposes. Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade has been widely used in Western countries and it serves a lot of benefits from it. In Western countries, DE are being used in internal and external for livestock. It can be used for external application and internal parasite control by mixing Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade into foods for livestock (i.e. chickens, cows, cattle) to keep the livestock healthy.

IMPORTANT: In general, there are two types of Diatomaceous Earth; Food Grade and Pool Grade. Do not be mistaken with Diatomaceous Earth "POOL GRADE". Misuse of Non-Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth can be potentially harmful.

Diatomaceous Earth is environmentally safe to human and pets however, we do recommend you to wear a mask and gloves during the application process. Diatomaceous Earth may cause eyes, skin and respiratory irritation.

Potential Risks
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Wear a mask to prevent from excessive breath in of Diatomaceous Earth that may cause breathing difficulty.
Skin: Exposure to Diatomaceous Earth on your skin can cause dryness. Wash off with water, wear a glove to prevent skin from dryness.

I have a Shih Tzu dog and have some fleas problem.

I never heard of DE before, what is it? and is it safe for pets? Such as if the pets accidentally lick it.

External Use
Face Mask and Cleanser: Mix DE and water together until you have made a paste. Apply to the face with circular scrubbing motion until face is fully covered. Leave on face for approx. 2 min. and then wash off with warm water. Your face will be fully exfoliated and toned for pennies!!! Mix DE with your favorite cleanser and you will have cleaner, smoother skin.

Internal Use
