Hi all, got a question regarding a problem im facing with my kelisa. Recently my O2 sensor went kaput and needed a new one. My question is, after installing a new one does the mechanic need to do some resetting, tweaks, setup on the cars ECU? or is it ready to go? I am thinking of just doing it myself, so any opinions on this matter? Also does anyone know any shops that can do this type of repair? The service center is quoting about 1k for the sensor... Your help and advises is highly appreciated. This post has been edited by mhyug: Jul 24 2015, 02:39 PM

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 24 2015, 02:45 PM) just change and ready to go. and you posted in wrong thread. O2 sensor has little to do with engine oil/automotive lubricants or fluids. okay. but sort of technical stand point i think it is in the right thread plus it is connected to the engine. but cheers anyway thanks for the answer.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 24 2015, 03:20 PM) You're welcome. for the pricing, you'll get better feedback on the kelisa threads at car club section. take note though, o2 sensors are in that price range and no surprise if it really is 1k especially since SC's also tend to have higher prices. i see. wow a sensor so much cost. but at least now i know that its just something you install and its ready to go, solving my engine warning light issue.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 24 2015, 03:39 PM) if you in kepong area, can consider cleaning the sensors first: http://store.zhapalang.com.my/product_info...roducts_id=2059and then he can help reset the error code via obd connection and see if it still persist would love to do a clean up but that sensor damaged physically. cables snapped and the top part housing/casing half broken.
