This engine oil "claims" that their oil is so good, even after 20k KM still cair, and they are foolish enough to drive the car around without any engine oil and claim that the engine still sounds silent

Guys I sent my myvi to petron for service and they used petron 10w30 and I was told that need to send back service in the next 5000km. That short?

Even last time Perodua can last 10000km. Is it becos Perodua using diff oil?

At what point should i be worried about engine oil temp?(revving high and high ambient temp. Sometimes it reach 40C+)Thinking of installing engine oil cooler. I hate installing too much gauge in the car but now i feel like maybe i should get an oil temp and pressure gauge since i cant butt monitor heat or pressure.

If only GIANT would bring in the 5W30 oil. Then I will buy these cheap good oil.

Hi, I need engine oil recommendation for a 12 years old Naza Suria 1.1L, current mileage is 170k+ km. 5W30 or 10W40 semi synthetic?
5W30 - engine feel smooth but wonder would it not safe to protect engine?
10W40 - engine feel hard to accelerate

3 months only drive 2k-2.5k km.

Normally I use semi synthetic 5w30 but recently go a workshop which don't have 5w30 eo. so have to use 10w40. after that, very obvious the pickup very hard. Thanks for your reply.

actually do when a car need to go slightly thicker engine oil ,as what ppl said higher KM cars go for thicker 5w-30 which is more common

Hi guys. I've recently installed an Oil Press gauge. And on hot idle its reading somewhere between 12psi to 13psi.

Engine Campro, Engine oil Lotus SHU.

Should I be worried? I think its a little on the low side at idle.

Vacuum on the other hand is great. 22inhg on idle.

I bought a sandwich plate adapter. Mounted between the oil fitter there.

Ori or thai sensor?

My thai defi pressure sensor giving false readings all over the place. Sometimes max, sometimes mid when idling, sometimes low pressure, sometimes no pressure.

Only the water temp and oil temp reliable.

Damn I never thought it'll read differently depending on where the sensor is located. Then again, I guess if its reading that low, then the actual reading should be quite abit higher.
