Which year / mileage?

I had acv31 2.0 year 2005, had been running Tesco Shell Helix ultra 5w40 since I bought the car at 170+k 10 years ago. Before that the car was UMW maintained.
Now the car is at 340k. Consume engine oil slightly.
My mileage is not high these days, and I had just finish my stash of Shell Ultra, so switch over to vrp 5w30. Let's see what happen next...

Is it true that all Lotus / Tesco no longer have Shell Ultra EO on sale anymore? I really miss tesco engine oil sales offer...

Currently use lazz oil 15w50 fully synthetic, been advised to use this grade by toyota cbu service centre bangi, yes consume engine oil a bit when im using 5w40 fully synthetic , no more after using 15w50 fully synthetic

Such a long time not using shell helix engine oil, previously since bought it brand new from umw toyota 2003, been using toyota engine oil 5w40, that time it was my dad car, now passed to me, 5 years already, now just use lazz oil 15w50 fully synthetic, the best grade for high mileage

u inspect leak from seal or gasket?
next i want try shell brand hi mileage or valvoline max life. got additive formula to reduces leak

July 2025 already change all gasket and seal, done by toyota cbu bangi, previously some minor leak but decided to change all gasket and seal for the engine include auto transmission, now no more but just remain use fully 15w50 engine oil 😴🛢️🔥🐝🔥

Curious to know what brand and range of oil that you used?

pretty good that till 250k km mileage, there is no engine oil reduction....pretty good piston ring

Year 1-5 under Honda SC, used 0W-20 Honda, until 100,000 km. Then, the warranty finished. From there, been using Mizu 0W-20 fully synthetic.

Giant got the shell helix ultra 5w40. I seldom go now unlike last time weekly. I did notice it earlier or the month though. But not as frequent sales. Maybe also because I don’t monitor it anymore.

Lotus tesco nowdays also not many choices for the engine oil, just went to lotus tesco bandar puteri bangi, nothing much

Suggest Kajang Lotus. Last time bought Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 there.

Im still testing mode with this brand and use their fully synthetic oil for my kapchai so far. Generally cheaper than another oil, Mizu, and work ok so far (no weird noise etc).

Tested motion eo before, frankly speaking it was a good engine oil, they used petronas as based oil, no complaint, but mizu seems better 🐝👑🐝
