nope. RAM on motherboard and memory on graphic card is different. as long your board supports PCI-E, it shouldn't be a problem. you can have your DDR2 RAM and at the same time using a DDR3/DDR4 graphic card. no problemthe DDR2/DDR3/DDR4 memory on graphic cards indicate its own memory. system memory is another thing, which is your RAM
