The question is do we go with 3 new players in our defence against City or stick to 2 veterans and 2 new players ? Moreno for me has got to play - he's a natural left fullback and City may not know how to fully contain him, and surely he can't be anymore defensively worse than Johnson. That will take some doing i reckon.

The alternative is to play Johnson in rightback and Moreno in leftback, but Manquillo's defensive performance was tons better than Johnson. The only thing i could  think Johnson has over Manquillo at this point is that he has experience dealing with City before. But is that enough to start over Manquillo ?

Against CT, the midfield will be where the battle is. As of now, can't see we winning it unless Gerrard and co step up a gear or two. Hendo will be the focal point to press and harrass the midfield while we need a solid DM to do all the dirty job. Maybe Can, maybe Lucas, maybe Gerrard but whoever plays, need to be at their absolute best.

Moreno (if fielded at LB) could spring a suprise or two. But I see BR sticking with Glen for his experience (which to me counts for nothing if he continues to be lazy)

Our new SAS will be given a hard time by CT's defenders, so I think we might have to rely on set pieces. Lov's header again?
