Well this is the open beta version. I'll skip it and wait for the official one. Not like cant use my phone without upgrading to 5.0 

For those that want a larger partition for the system drive, this open beta did provide a new partition size.

I don't mind using Cm12 on it, as long as the porting over is done flawlessly. Unfortunately, that is not the case with those Chinese devs ... they are really taking their own sweet time in fixing portover issues one at a time in a time span of 2 - 3 weeks per update ...

I believe you are going to loveeeeee CM12.1, since the Chinese devs decided to port the Nubia camera into the Cm12.1 as the default camera app. I was quite shocked to see the camera app myself, and good lord, the image quality is soo syiok!

It needs new partition size by installing 2.13 first. Android L requirement.

can i confirm the steps for getting cm12 from v1.64 are

1. update to v2.13 using flashtool
2. root, and install custom recovery (cwm or twrp is recommended?)
3. put cm12 and gapps .zip in sd card and install using custom recovery

Eh, i thot the camera app inside the CM12.1 is ported from Nubia v2.13 dee? Becoz it is definitely not stock camera app.

You mean the one click tool can flash a custom recovery onto the phone ?

So conclusion is I

1. Flash to v2.13 using official updater tool
2. Flash custom recovery using the one click tool you shared
3. Put cm12 and gapps .zip files in sd and flash using custom recovery

i completed the first step by updating to v2.13, i noticed the icons and words are like bigger, is there something wrong with the ppi?

I installed all other non-Google apps just now and it successfully boot except for Google Play and GMS.

I need to check one-by-one which app cause trouble.

OK I started from below of the list.

Google Admin causing the boot loop. I am using it because I have paid Google service.

I should have started from the above   

Running CM12 currently, but having intermittent screen unresponsive issue at lock screen. Thus, cannot unlock phone and need to reboot/power off. Only happened today, didn't have the issue immediately after installing CM12.

Anybody facing the same issue?

Something wrong with the super slow USB mass storage with CM12.1.

Transfer only 500kbps - 1.5MBps ... can't transfer my gigabyte files.

Jumping from stock KitKat to stock Lolli...
ROM Version 1.64 --> 2.13 --> 3.09 --> 3.15 --> 3.16....

No lost IMEI... no brick... everything went smooth... took me almost 2 hours to get everything up and running like normal....

Uh-Oh... Oh well... the gaming experience for stock V3.16 is HORRIBLE... drop-frames every 5 seconds...so, if you are into gaming, DO NOT upgrade to stock 3.16...
