I know this gets asked a lot but is there any music centre around Taman Melawati/Wangsamaju area that provides piano lessons? I'm 24, a starter. The problem is I'll start working very soon and I seriously doubt I'll be off on weekends. My off will be probably only 1 day per week and on different day every week. Does any music centre anyone knows accommodates that? Thx for replying.

Have you considered hiring a private home teacher? I find it easier with a private tutor since I am also studying on a tight schedule so whenever I have any cancellations or anything its easier to reschedule classes with my private tutor.

I thought about that as well. Will that be better compared to music centres in terms of the lessons provided? And how much is that roughly?

What I learned from experience, most experienced teachers are working at music centers and what they do is they have side home lessons to fill in the extra time, hence extra income.
About which is better, I have studied both in center and in home lessons and I personally think it comes down to the teacher that you hire.
Lessons are the same, syllabus don't change.
At first it can be a hit or miss on the first teacher, I have a friend that changed teachers 3 times before she got someone that she's comfortable with. For me, I was blessed with a great and fun teacher for the first 4 grades until I had to be on hiatus for SPM exams and then college. I'm studying under another home teacher right now.

Also, I'm not sure about the current rate for beginners but maybe you can go around and ask about the fees.
They charge adults a little bit higher than children (I don't know why they would wanna do that since everything is still the same)
