i like foobar2000 and don like wmp...
because cpu usage for wmp is 20X or 2000% more foobar on my pc ... true ... foobar2000 usually use 1% while wmp >20% for playing mp3 ... This post has been edited by alvin1378: Sep 27 2006, 12:53 AM |

Once upon a time I love foorbar. good for those who are willing to spend time to customize their music player.
Due that I often format my pc, the 'hard work' I've done to my foobar are all gone. Eventually, I got lazy to re-customize it, thus it's just a plain old foobar to me. Now, the simplest for me is WMP10. but I don't really like it. Btw, TT player is good also, the only thing is it's only in chinese, I don't like to read chinese words. |

Although I'm a fan of WMP11, I like winamp because at least it allows you to choose full or lite version.
Just in case you want a SIMPLE mp3 player, and don't need all those bloody online TV and music store thingies, just get a lite |

Foobar. No ad, popup or whatever. WMP is my backup because of the library system which I really love.

i used to use sonique (it was my 1st ever mp3 player).. used it from year 1999. light n easy.. nice vis also..but sonique2 is way heavier.. i never liked winamp before.. it was ugly, messy, etc (remember those days?
but just recently (earlier this year) i change to winamp cuz it has the spectrum analyzer plugin to be used with my modded alphanumeric lcd panel via lcdsmartie |
