QUOTE(SoMeOnE121 @ Jun 4 2018, 04:40 PM) The loan has been approved already and even SA has admitted to me that some of their projects like sky vogue are a no go...but Meridien is a go.. howver my concern is the same as the forumers above...a company under investigation can mean cashflow problems....board members being impeached....all this can directly influence the quality, delivery and other factors of the construction... It is all because of the location and accessibility to public transport despite this is a commercial land......I bought one unit as well. Am not even worry. Skyworld has already shown with the Ascenda project that they can deliver a really good quality premium condo and I'm really impressed with the workmanship (I refuse to comment on WIP projects because that are many other factors involved for the delivery of those projects) plus they really seem like a developer that wants to really make a mark in KL.... But so sakit kepala la...after getting loan approved etc..this happens..spent months researching so many projects in Setapak/Sentul/Wangsa Maju area.....haih... I'm supposed to sign the agreement this coming Sunday...dunno if I should delay... was so happy as it's my first house..and this happens... It would be great if some sifus here can advise if I should proceed... |

QUOTE(DesRed @ Jun 5 2018, 12:50 PM) I used both MRT and LRT before and see no speed difference between the two. Again the risk is there.....even with CCTV installed as a person could open the door and another person might just slipped in without validation. But for this project, any public transportation is better than none. Plus the confirmed covered walkway from the entrance of this project to the station's walkway and a possibility to install a side door upon the formation of a JMB is quite good dy. |

QUOTE(DesRed @ Jun 5 2018, 03:54 PM) Good point there. Since the sales staff stationed there mentioned that only upon the formation of a JMB can they make this request to DBKL, then they can also choose not to exercise it. The idea is definitely good, as it create convenience to the tenant to LRT station. However we cannot discount the fact that surrounding it were low cost flats and opposite were squatters of which will be removed. It is just like Mount Kiara where it is next to segambut dalam squatters. What I recall is that the side wall along the walkway towards the LRT station is a steel fence for the very purpose of allowing the JMB to create a door there if they wanted to. |

QUOTE(SoMeOnE121 @ Jun 15 2020, 03:44 PM) The only part that is officially on sale now is SkyMeridien and I understand only large units, loan rejects units and undesirable small units (number, location etc) are still available. Great sharing. From my understanding, the PPR flats right behind are not the one that SkyWorld is targetting as the next development but one that is nearer to the UTC. However, the grand plan is to ultimately redevelop the whole of BBS into SkyCity but with all the political flip flop, current economy and other factors like paying off ppr owners etc, I believe SW is taking a 'wait and see' approach. I expect this area to see continued but slow changes as for the next 10-15 years due to its desirable location and still affordable asking prices when compared to other KL city area (within 5 KM OF KLCC locations) projects. But I do not expect it to be rapid. It is frankly suicidal for a developer to do so at this point. |
