Yep... My friend almost bought Lexa until she went to site, and tried to walk to the station. She mentioned distance wasn't the issue. It was the construction, and lack of proper walkways.
I generally am willing to walk up to about 15 minutes.
Wangsa Maju Seksyen 2 Flats to Wangsa Maju Station takes about 10-15 minutes depends on how fast you walk.
Pelangi Utama Condo Block A to Bandar Utama MRT takes about 20 minutes.
Chan Sow Lin to IKEA Cheras takes about 20 minutes (this was before MRT was operational)
What do you guys think? How far/how long would you guys walk to get to a station?
Personally, nothing more than 500-600m walk without cover, which is 5-10 mins?I generally am willing to walk up to about 15 minutes.

Much more bearable to walk in the morning or night when it's not too hot and I've seen groups of people walking from Sentul LRT to Tamarind/Saffron at night, which is 1km+..
