is there anyway you can try this Kinect sensor at friends house? or bring to any game shop asked if you can try if its working ? or else you might buy from them. so you get free testing.

Duh, the seller keep saying they can play games with the kinect, totally ignore my problem on the kinect tuner calibration.

Anyone here got a Jtag xbox360 who is willing to test out the kinect tuner audio test? I like to know if this is normal for a Jtag unit.

I think you are a little out of topic here mate, I am seeking for help in the Original kinect tuner in original xbox dashboard, not the homebrew dashboard.

My bad, I should have wrote unmodded instead.

What I mean is Jtag = Modded , unModded = Original. Hence it might be due to this you are not getting the correct error code or you are only facing problem which occurred to modded consoles only that doesn't apply to Original/unmodded console.

had that problem once when got it out of the box. problem seems to be rectified after several updates without having to go through the whole calibration process.

It didn't affect my kinect games though, what does this microphone do anyway? For singing?

some games do require mic
though the kinect adventures used it for 'live trophy' non vital part of the game.
supposedly can give commands to your xbox like turn on off. have not enable that feature yet though

hmm...not much use of the mic i guess. Thanks for your help
