bobbychin, dont think so it wld be obsolete in a short period of time. I sld last more than 6 mths. Aint cheap to change a model or design.

Both models already on sale in Malaysia.. FX07 is almost similar to FX01.. Panasonic made some improvements from FX01 and LX1 and produced the two new generations for the respective models...

LX2 has 10.2 megapixel whereas the LX1 has only 8.4.. LX2 able to support SD HC Card and LX1 doesn't. However, many say that the price for the LX2 is cheaper than LX1 which is strange. I bet the price difference is because of the competition factor. LX2 is being made more affordable for buyers' joy!!

As expected, the price of LX1 has decreased right after LX2 arrived. LX1 is not more expensive than LX2 already..
