I think most brand have few series of tires for different purpose. Find the one suitable for your driving requirement. Cheap series last longer but poor on wet road perhaps. More expensive last shorter unfortunately. I tried many brands, but choose the good performance for both wet and dry... and usually but whichever on sales The latest Hankook one is really good ... forgot the series

Yes Ventus ... because of the angle of thread pattern is narrow to moving direction, it is relatively quiet. Wide groove in the middle also helps to disperse water. I'm using it on my Viva (yes only Viva) and I drive with confidence during heavy rain. The car "glide" straight forward in case of aqua planning when water is quite deep. The shop say tyre is quiet. That is what salesman always say , but I tend to believe because i=of the reason above.

It was on sales fro rm300 each that day . Good enough to myself sold.

Err... standard Viva full spec sport rim size only... Nothing special. std price is > 300 right? Sometimes already ... forgot

I just check. Mine is Ventus V8 RS, 165/55 R14.
