165/60 r14 rm150 each...ampang..last month change...so far...better than previous goodyear

I think most brand have few series of tires for different purpose. Find the one suitable for your driving requirement. Cheap series last longer but poor on wet road perhaps. More expensive last shorter unfortunately. I tried many brands, but choose the good performance for both wet and dry... and usually but whichever on sales The latest Hankook one is really good ... forgot the series

Soon there'll be many reviews on hankook kinergy ex, cause it's now the default tyre for Axia. I would say it's a good move from perodua

my previous tyre was V12
directional, noisy after some uneven wear
i would say superb in dry and wet grip as well as cornering (sidewall hard enough to me)
conclusion: super value for money if you are looking for performance tyre and dun bother the noise.

any recommend shop can i dropby visit?

I heard my friend using hankook, he did say performance is not bad, slightly better den Yoko cdrive. He is using on Saga BLM.

Yes Ventus ... because of the angle of thread pattern is narrow to moving direction, it is relatively quiet. Wide groove in the middle also helps to disperse water. I'm using it on my Viva (yes only Viva) and I drive with confidence during heavy rain. The car "glide" straight forward in case of aqua planning when water is quite deep. The shop say tyre is quiet. That is what salesman always say , but I tend to believe because i=of the reason above.

It was on sales fro rm300 each that day . Good enough to myself sold.

anyone know which is better either michelin xm2 or Hankook Kinergy Ex or cc5? in terms of fuel saving and noise. i used to use cc5 but the tyre is like easily torn. now using xm2 cant tell much different except no torn like cc5. wonder how the kinergy ex perfoms.

if u looking for fuel saving tyre, u may consider ecopia and nanoenergy 3 also

my cousin last time got use hankook. he said the wet performance is so bad he had to change tyre. maybe he bought the cheap one

good tyre wear, but depends on how u take care your tyre. (rotation, balancing)

just get my self Hankook Ventus2 Concept2, size 205 45 r17, RM290 Per-donut, shop at Rawang TMK tyre shop with Big Hankook signage, shop recommended to me this model since i do spirit driving with Mid level UHP tyre. not test yet but so far so good.

but what shocking me is thread wear for this tyre 500 with AA grip

I have used Hankook S1 Evo 205/40/17.. Superb performance tyres as it was Hankook's flagship tyres then..

Then I used Hankook V12 Evo 205/40/17, 195/55/15 and 195/50/15..

S1 Evo is better than V12 Evo... V12 Evo is good as well for it's price..

I also curently use v12 evo..so far so good..wet and dry performance not dissapointed..noisy still can accept..i guess my muffler much louder..
Much btter than my stock continental, nueton nt 8000 and i do felt it much better in wet condition campare to previous t1r

Last time I use V12 Evo(k110), 205/40/17. I found the grip is acceptable and handling too. Only one thing was, the sidewall was too soft...

Not sure about the V12 Evo2(K120) though...

Bro, i am strongly advice u don speed during raining and wet road....
I am switching 2pcs from PS3, and it seem like langsung no grip at all...so i put it at rear and buy another 2pcs of PS3 for front tyre.
trust me your life is more than few hundred ringgit.
FYI my car is Wira Mivec, 195/50/15.

look for ventus TD, never complain ever since seriously, it is good tire

From the time my last review as your reply, yes this tyre have poor grip
even at dry road i can hear tyre screeching when tackle the corner, my last maxxis i-pro is far far better than this but only last me 40k. maybe will wait my rear pair botak first then get other tyre since i dont want under-steer during my spirit driving

Yeah I noticed that too. Usually for traction rating AA, at least tread wear 300-350.
But there are also tires with low tread wear (<300) but traction rating also only A, so I suppose the AA/500 can happen as well, but maybe still not as much grip as those with AA/300.

the rating is like eco tire with AA traction

but is more like a normal entry level sport tire to me

drive safe before change tyre. our life is controlling by it

This is low end / budget tyre only nia Bro.

im using v2 concept2 but cant comment on the noise n bumpy bcoz i change the size from 215/45 to 205/55
regarding grip, it not up to my expectation (i have some expectation bcoz itz rated as high performance tyre)

Bro, if high speed 80km/h I can accept the fact, even low speed 20km/h also cant grip wet road, felt cheated lo

It's not high performance tire, but actually just mid level tire. Hankook's high performance tires are the S1 Evo 2 and V12 Evo 2.

Is it that bad? I just changed mine OMG. Looks fine on my back tires. Feel silent and planted compared to my worn out cc5. 195/60/r15. Did u check what year it was manufacture?

wow thats really bad.... even cheap Silverstone M5 serves me well. Only skid on wet sudden braking above 70 kmh

i can also confirm from my experience that hankook kinergy ex is a very slippery tyre. even though it is super duper new like one day old.

Well I never really brake hard much plus its on the back wheels. I cant comment much. For me 195 profile is anytime better than 185. Which was significant when I upgraded. New tires need some time to be conditioned, maybe it will get better a bit.

ohh i saw this v2 is placed under "High Performance All Season" instead of "Touring tyre" in tyrereviews and tot the performance will be "not bad" mah

I'm not sure about 15-inch but believe or not, is not the matter of tire size, the thread design not well perform in raining season. Mine was manufactured 2015, Made in Indonesia.

Okay, I cant comment on that. Mine was a bit new changed it before CNY. Manufactured week44 2016, Indonesia. So far it helps to stabilize my big car with skinny tires. Again it rained alot during CNY, but I didnt slam the brakes. So far so good.

so far feel normal..today heavy rain but i did not get a chance to really test it in rain as i used trunk road and no more speed than 80kph... but in dry i feel it is ok nothing to shout about but decent grip enough for daily use ...mine is manufactured 46th week of 2016 also made in indonesia...

i wanted a quiet tyre and the shop recommended me this...my previous michelin xm2 came with the car when i bought it (2nd hand) 6 mts back but it was really noisy and was driving me crazy...checked the date it was manufactured in 2013 so the shop man told me it could have hardened hence generate noise..anyway i dont know hw long my car was sitting in the hot sun at the used car..

but surprisingly after changing to hankook i feel there is not much difference in noise generated by the tyre sound just a little less....or is it just me ??

anyway my ride is a vios 2011 g limited spec...maybe poor sound insulation ??

XM2 should not be that noisy. This Hankook, I'm not sure.
Yeah I suspect poor insulation of the car.
Anyway don't rely on me about tire noise as I listen to loud music in the car and noise is never a selection criteria for me in choosing tires!

IMO, vios has very poor soundproof. My vios with mc5 is killing me.

currently looking for budget tyres. been looking at hankook v2c2 but saw there is a lot of negative feedbacks. Wanna know is it really that lousy? currently on mc5 but it doesn't work well for me. wish to have more comments from users. quoted a superb cheap price. 205/45/17 for only 185. LOL

hankook v2 considered budget tyre but rating on tyre quite high I dont know why, currently just used for 2 months, so far so good, if compare comfort sure mc5 lor, but easier botak as threadwear of v2 is higher than most tyre , for 215/45/r17 i gotten for 200 , normal use ok lor

mc5 comfort bro?for me i feels that its harsh. mc5 is an overrated tyres. nothing so special bout it. and i wont buy mc5 anymore. hahaha. v2c2 grip wise okay? i saw alot ppl said it will easily skid. which backed me up from buying it.

so far as i use hankook shows decent grip la ,but i did not speed when it rains so can't really justify how it performs in wet conditions, somehow if u can pay more then may go for better grip tyre, hankook is suitable if on a tight budget

if its decent then i think it is worth for a try. The price is just too attractive. haha

yup i guess so too... in my vios i can very well hear the tyre roar especially on rough tar and concrete roads...on newly resurfaced tar roads the roar is considerably less..but my 24 years old iswara with its more cheaper sime/sportiva tyres is much silent or rather it has better sound insulation ??

Agree, i chnage to 4 x 185/60/r14 almost half year ago. The wet road grip is horrible. Even my rojak tyre ( xm2 at the front and goodyear nct5 stock tyre that almost botak) have better grip.
Was planning to get XM2 during that time but the sales person seems manage to convince me to get the Hankook tyre.

So far I got few owner all having same experience as mine.

I check with tires shop before, they said that caused by pattern, it cant disperse the water efficiently when wet handling

Previous so call lousy "Goodyear Eagle NCT5" far more better than it...used until botak still wont like that.

So scary like snake swing left and right even low speed during wet road.

Never buy Hankook anymore. Jan 2016, two days after I changed my front Hankok tires ( all 4 are Hankook), was taking turn at Jalan Istana to KL Sentral doing about 60km/h the car lost control lucky beside didn't have any car. Took back to tire shop they say my tires are fine.

Well it's a low end model but I'm not assuming anything coz I also don't know how you drive or how was the road condition and the corner.

Just changed for my BMW 225/45/R18 P7 RFT to S1 Noble2...

Was considering PS4, Fleva, V12 Evo2...

But wanna try something more quiet & comfortable...I suppose most non-RFT will fit the bill...and PS4 the better performance match...

For now meets my expectations...will see how it goes after running in

Why is this Noble2 isn't discussed more I wonder? It must be moving OK since mine's dated 0317...350/pc incl gst, alignment, camber.

Is HANKOOK tyres consider cheap and low grade?
The newly launch VW TIGUAN fitted with Hankook Ventus s1 evo2 SUV and also the newly launch BMW 740Le fitted with Hankook Ventus s1 evo2 RFT.
Never use this brand before and wonder should I swap the tyre right away when I collect the car.

hankook is not a low grade tyres. s1 evo2 is the top spec tyres of hankook which compete with ps3, csc5, goodyear asy3.

S1 Evo2 is Hankook's top of the line model and comparison test reviews in Europe have come out pretty good too for this tire so just use them.

Can just ask around your favorite shops... most will order even if don't carry stock...

After 1k km running in my 18" Noble2...so far very satisfied...no issue with spirited town driving

It may be a comfort tyre, but for 18" it's handling is still quite sharp...overall a very composed drive

Hankook Kinergy Ex H308

Don't use Hankook Kinergy EX, you will regret. I just replaced all with Bridgestone Ecopia EP150, my problem resolved. It was a very bad tires, failed to disperse water on wet road even new.

I tried to call up to check s1 evo2 tire for size 235/55/18......(which I believe is the size for tiguan).....most hankook shops doesn't even know about this tire.

235/55/18 size is SUV size tire so usually top of the line performance tire of a brand would not make such size. They are made more for sedan/sports car tire sizes or SUV which use low profile tires.

The pattern already screams "slippery when wet" ... lol...

It's not very bad per se...just not designed to disperse water...

But yes I agree don't buy this...

Hankook Malaysia says no such size...only 235/55/R19...
