QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 5 2006, 12:13 PM) Grip level on RH2005 is much lesser than on RH2004 accordingly to racesim and team redline. Hence, if we opt to upgrade to RH2005, there will be much less racing amongst each other whilst on the track (or maybe more accidents) |

QUOTE(woe.com @ Sep 12 2006, 08:19 AM) ya... but how much ar to play Go-Kart? i heard ppl say 10mins RM30 leh.. damn mahal, Best go-kart track in KL would be Shah Alam Stadium. I think the charge about Rm35 for ten minutes. Sepang is also equally good, but far to travel and more expensive.where we race F1 for 35mins = FREE!! yus, u play Go-Kart b4? How fast can it go? 300 km/h? Word of advice, bring your own helmet This post has been edited by staggy: Sep 12 2006, 01:22 PM |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Sep 14 2006, 09:29 PM) what is this I hear about staggy giving out our hamachi network password???? Who did you hear that from? league password was never given out as i've clearly requested him to post on the forum to seek permission to join our league. I assure you that our league sessions will not be disrupted. However, he did join our hamachi network, but only for our regular testing sessions. PM me if you want to discuss this matter.your friend is not allowed to join the league races yet. If he disrupt's any league sessions, its on you staggy |

Dear F1C enthusiast... I'm very grateful that the stewards and fellow racers are reviewing the incident in a fair manner. However, after reading the content posted on the forum and with much speculations, theories and assumptions made... I would like to take the opportunity to make clear some of your theories so that we can enjoy the races to come moving forward.
GKL is correct with his comments that I did at multiple part of the track/lap moved out of the racing line to let him attempt an overtaking maneuver. This is done so as I'm very well aware that he has a faster car and drive than I do (this is a typical maneuver made by most F1 drivers in an uncompetitive car) Unfortunately, for whatever reason, his straight-line speed was not sufficient to close the gap and take the opportunity to overtake me when given the chances. Whilst giving him sufficient space on the straights was the main idea...However we it comes to taking the corner, I had to retake the best-line to ensure that I pass the corner safely. Hence, that is why I was not on the racing line, but when coming to a bend and seeing that gkl cannot overtake me, I moved in to the "best-line" to ensure that I can safely pass the bend to continue my lap. I think this is when the incident between gkl and me happened at one of the corners. It is of course very unfortunate for me to end the race so soon as I was pretty sure that I could finish up with some points, but I guess that is racing for everyone. Things do happen... and it was not intentional on both my part or from gkl for the incident to happen. I strongly believed that gkl did not meant to take me out of the race by nudging the back on my car and therefore I strongly recommend to the stewards not to penalize him for the action and incident. However, I do stress that it is important for everyone to take caution when it comes to making aggressive driving and/or maneuver so that everyone can have some fun in making it to the overall championship table/chart. Thanks again to those who wanted to make our race clean and fair! Btw, have we decided on the date and timing for the next event to accomodate our muslim friends who will be fasting for the month? Chill out everyone....cool down! Funny...I should be the one that supposed to be angry because of the race incident... not you folks who managed to finish with points in the last race. I'm not even complaining much...so chill-out!
All of us have our own opinion and reasoning. Nobody is wrong or accessive! It is only a game, what is more important is for us to enjoy it as a group of F1C ethusiasts As for race incidents, I think we should look at it with a case-by-case basis. As a suggestion, if the incident is reported by the parties involved, then the stewards will investigate. If the incident is not escalated for review...then there is no issue. What are your thoughts? That way we minimise the risk of getting people who are not happy over decisions made etc. |
