Love FSP for their low and mid budget PSUs.

The only detailed review you can find is from Hardware Secrets, Tweaktown, Jonnyguru and HardOCP.

Thank you for the link.

The Raider series would be one of the best choice available for low / mid range setup.

Apparently their old plugs couldn't fit the thin notebooks hence a newer and thinner plug.

Their factories in China got plenty of spare capacity to churn out new models of everything.. including power adapters. LOL laugh.gif

Next they will tell you that you only need WIFI and BTT to connect. The wired LAN is only a backup.

Hello,

Sorry but we will not be able to speak on behalf of other brands. biggrin.gif

You should ask Cooler Master instead. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3129478

One thing's for sure - our Aurum range of PSU would be able to fulfill the needs of Enthusiasts.

Anandtech reviewed our PT 1200w power supply.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/8607/fsp-aur...r-supply-review

QUOTE
In conclusion, the Aurum PT 1200W is a well made, reasonably priced product that offers good overall performance. The only actual problem of this product is the very limited market that it is trying to appeal to, as a very small percentage of users actually need this kind of power. It may not generate great sales, but we feel that FSP mostly wanted to prove that they could create a high quality and reasonably priced top-tier product. If you are a gamer or a professional with three or more high end GPUs, the FSP Aurum PT 1200W will not disappoint. We'll also likely see other brands of PSU use FSP's design in the coming months, and those may improve on what few blemishes exist.

The FSP Aurum PT 1000W is a very well built, high grade supply suited to power hungry multi GPU system builds. While competition in this sector is very aggressive, the FSP Aurum PT can hold its own against any other unit we have tested.

biggrin.gif It's in a language most of us don't understand but there are benchmarks in the video.

Check them out, we take pride in the quality of our power supply units.

The Twinkle 65 is well done and very practical. After using this device with several different notebooks during the past weeks, we really started to appreciate this little fellow. If you own several different devices which need a 19V power source and don't pull more than 65 Watt, the Twinkle 65 is higly practical. Apparently you can also buy a Twinkle 65 if you should have lost the power supply of your Notebook. In such an event, this unit is a perfect replacement. Apart from the versatility we also liked that it's very small as well as light and therefore easy to carry around.

Update - 3/6/2015: The FSP AURUM PT 1000W is now available from Newegg for $229.99 and shows to soon be available from Amazon for $229.99 with Free Shipping. Given that it is coming in $10 below its MSRP is a certainly a positive as we felt it was a bit overpriced. At the $229.99 price we feel as though the FSP AURUM PT 1000W is worthy of a HardOCP Editor's Choice Silver. We feel as though its value would be much better represented at $209.99
