QUOTE(mrbob @ Aug 26 2014, 05:16 PM) Apparently their old plugs couldn't fit the thin notebooks hence a newer and thinner plug. http://www.v3.co.uk/v3-uk/news/2319522/uni...ublished-by-iecI'm not sure about this, Dell can use their existing plug on the latest slim notebook, and Lenovo can't do it? Now a bit regret bought this stupid laptop... and what more didn't notice it's only 100Mbps LAN...What The Fart!!

Their factories in China got plenty of spare capacity to churn out new models of everything.. including power adapters. LOL Next they will tell you that you only need WIFI and BTT to connect. The wired LAN is only a backup. This post has been edited by mrbob: Aug 26 2014, 05:48 PM

My Lenovo S10-2 Netbook plug and Lenovo G50-70 won't mix. One using normal adapter that's found on the Twinkle while the other is that rectangular type.

UPS demand very low.
When was the last time you saw anyone on HW Q&A asking about UPS?

R9 290..umm..could be able to. Same goes to GTX980..if it involves OC,i'd suggest getting at least 600W for extra headroom. Your specs and current PSU?

My current spec now is R9270X and I'm still using Cooler Master Gold which is true power 550Watt..and I plan to change better graphic card nex year.. Or when I realise that R9270X can't support ultra graphic anymore..lol...

You should ask Cooler Master instead. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3129478One thing's for sure - our Aurum range of PSU would be able to fulfill the needs of Enthusiasts. Check out the post below! Anandtech reviewed our PT 1200w power supply. http://www.anandtech.com/show/8607/fsp-aur...r-supply-reviewQUOTE In conclusion, the Aurum PT 1200W is a well made, reasonably priced product that offers good overall performance. The only actual problem of this product is the very limited market that it is trying to appeal to, as a very small percentage of users actually need this kind of power. It may not generate great sales, but we feel that FSP mostly wanted to prove that they could create a high quality and reasonably priced top-tier product. If you are a gamer or a professional with three or more high end GPUs, the FSP Aurum PT 1200W will not disappoint. We'll also likely see other brands of PSU use FSP's design in the coming months, and those may improve on what few blemishes exist.

QUOTE The FSP Aurum PT 1000W is a very well built, high grade supply suited to power hungry multi GPU system builds. While competition in this sector is very aggressive, the FSP Aurum PT can hold its own against any other unit we have tested. http://www.kitguru.net/components/power-su...00w-psu-review/
