When I flash the file via recovery, fail.
Status 7.
Sometimes smoke/magic wallpaper error

Before doing anything I did nandroid backup.


flash flash 4.4.4 via recovery philzz, fail.
Status 7.
Assert fail, magicsmokewallpaper

power on phone, Now it keep saying audiofx crash,

wipe cache alredy, still same, keeps saying audio FX crash


Tried restoring nandroid, it says cannot load E, the location.




Update.
Managed to restore nandroid.
At last backup is visible.

Hey those with rooted phone, if you adjusted the xml file to adjust volume or removed some crap apps like live wallpapers.
Flash won't success. Will get error. Then when power on, apps force close.


So solution is, download the edited version of the 4.4.4
file link
Put into phone.

Restart to recovery.
1. Make sure you do nandroid backup. Very important ******

2. Select the new zip file to flash.

3. Wipe cache, then go into advance and wipe dalvik cache.

4. Restart. Some will prompt to root, just press yes.

5. Power on device, go check update again.

6. Install second update.

7. Power off, go into recovery

8. Flash the superuser file. Superuser zip

9. Power on, open superuser and update binaries.

Win liao.

No need use PC, just open recovery, go to backup restore, and press backup to internal

Hey Bro my xml heavy modded.
So flash fails.

Used the modded link you gave, flash via recovery, successful

But when I check for updates and install second file 9mb.
No difference.

When power on phone, the file still there to install.
Build date remains 4th august.

I downloaded the 9mb and flash via recovery, fails.
Error 7, whisper thing
Removed it long long ago.

Any solutions?

Just say any thingy happen when you flash,
You can restore the nandroid cap backup

You go install twrp or philz recovery

If got no data, then no backup nevermind.
If phone gila, flash the 4.4.2. Clean install

Wiped cache n dalvik

No way reset. Data loss lazy put back.

Btw titanium backup can backup system setting ah? Like ringtone, notification setting?
