here's what i did. its lengthy.

1. using TB. backup selected apps (actually all apps) + system data (i only selected the ones with green and yellow colour). dont choose red.
2. again i backed up all my system using TWRP.
3. went into TWRP recovery, wiped everything, delvik cache
4. flashed to the old 4.4.2 stock rom. reboot
5. flashed the update to 4.4.4. reboot
5. installed the incremental update. reboot.
5. re-rooted with superSU
6. restored all apps and selected system data (phone logs + sms) with TB

Lock screen wallpaper bug? Phew! Mine's working just fine. All I know is after updated to latest 30o, the lock screen is using the never settle wallpaper. But I can simply change it. Is it because I'm using GNL?
*
the lockscreen wallpaper only works if u use the custom lock screen. but if you disable it and use ur own lock screen, the bug will appear

If your yellow tint is software issue, then the new update added new "colder" color calibration

during those past days as well, CM color calibration has always been "warmer" (so not per say "yellow" tint  tongue.gif )
*
where can i find the color calibration?

Hmm.. cant really get what you mean  icon_question.gif

For me, i didn't check the Custom Lock Screen under Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen...

then i go to Settings ->Personalization -> Themes -> Lock Screen wallpapers .. then i select the "never settle" as lock screen wallpaper... it doesnt appear that way.. It is still showing my usual wallpaper , the "black hole" i used.

Settings - display - screen color
Or try custom kernel like Franco's that has the color calibration which can be adjusted using apps smile.gif
*
is it the new update just calibrated itself?

my screen color setting just displays;
standard
vivid
custom

Yeap  nod.gif
The new update calibrated to be "cooler" color.
If you like, you can use that default built-in to also adjust to your preference  smile.gif

ohhhh. ok. i thought my device is missing a few settings. haha phewww

Guys, i just realized my OPO battery drain faster after rooted the phone.
Before rooted it was quite lasting. Upon checking, i found out the kernel consumes most of the batt.

Is this normal?
*
mine is always rooted prior and post upgrade. but my battery consumption is much better after the upgrade

Funny. My China 1+1 build.prop is the same as the one above. lol
Is it because I incrementally updated to the r25? I checked the file date, I think it is. lol

Anyway, Imma try to dirty flash the OTA cm-bacon-XNPH3O0-signed.zip cruzzmz uploaded alongside the latest ver. of SuperSu with TWRP. If no I'll just use calkulin's full zip.

I should disable Xposed as a precaution eh?
*
recommended for u to uninstall xposed 1st.

but b4 that, if u have TB, u can backup all xposed data + settings 1st, and save it in ur sd card or pc. when ure done updating, restore those data and settings back.

can tell me your screen time and usage?
her concern is battery.. she love play game and whatsapp and do some reading...
i use windows phone Lumia1520 now and battery is good, but she dun want, she want android..
my last experience with android is Galaxy S3, so long didnt follow android...
so i need advice here..
i prefer good hardware, brand i dun care much..
*
try searching my previous posts. i think i did posted some of my SOT in here. but i have to tell u, battery life is also dependent on ur network quality. during weekends and if im at home, i'll get better battery life as the device is on wifi 24 hrs.

but during weekdays, when im working, my battery life would be much lesser as i move a lot. and celcom's LTE coverage at my office is not that good. the device will actively seeking to lock to LTE. and i can see that the devise is actively changing from 3G to H+ to LTE then back to 3G.

I did mod the system files on mixer.xml but didnt backup the file before doing so. So what can I do now?
Most probably I would get some error message if I update OTA cause I modded the xml file.
*
this question has been asked too many times already.

1st option: replace the xml file with the original unedited xml. u can find one in here too.

2nd option: refer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-on...-stock-t2845075

Confirmed they've changed the syntax to A0001.  biggrin.gif
By the way guys, I've flashed the OTA update from Cruzzmz's file. Updated the AUG11 ver. again. Flashed SuperSU and wipe cache/dalvik and all that.

But after doing these, the recovery kept reverting to stock. Had to reflash TWRP again. Why?
*
u didnt uncheck update CM recovery in developer option. if it is checked, it will trigger the stock recovery to override TWRP or any other custom recovery

and yes, u need to reinstall TWRP back

can't seem to find the file if plug'd into my com via explorer.
*
since u edited the xml, im sure ure rooted. download the file with ur opo. use root explorer / es file explorer, copy and paste it to its designated folder. done.
