it will not damage your console but it will tear down your console due to prolong usage. it does not matter, the time will come when we need to repair the lens, regardless of playing CD or Games.

if we consider that to be spoiling the console, then we might as well say humans living also later on will spoil. Nothing lasts forever, even our bodies.

yeesh... just use it the way it was meant to be. Obviously the audio cd and dvd playback was made there to be used. Have no worries my friend. Make full use of your life and xbox/playstation/ps4/xbox720!

Nope, the CD uses less power than any other media CD-R, DVD-ROM, this is a proven test i've seen in a forum, so no problem play CD in your console.

PS2 and XBOX CD playing isn't very good. My SONY DVD player beats em both to a pulp in terms of audio quality.

Neway, as i always say, save ur PS2 lens for the games. Cheapplug DVD player can be bought for RM100. Your lens is worth much more than that.

1) If playing audio CDs is something which is going to be regular activity, wouldnt it be wise to invest in a CD-player or even one of those pretty affordable mini/micro compos?

2) I wonder how the Discman stacks up with the PS2 in quality tongue.gif

3) Hmmmm.....I'm speechless. laugh.gif
