PLEASE do not buy from the TTDI branch, try your best to stay away from this dealer, they are seriously unethical and unprofessional. mad.gif

Hi guys, just a reminder so others don't have to go through the same bad experience as my friend. He just had a very rough experience as the salesman Zxx and manager Rxxx in TTDI branch simply provide false information and treat the customer with no respect. My friend doesn't want to bring up the whole thing here, but will submit a complain letter to HQ. Though not sure what HQ will do on dealers. Probably nothing.

I am not a salesman from other branches. But there are so many places that you can go besides TTDI branch. Trust me. They will tell you A today, and B tomorrow, maybe by next week there will be a C version of thing. Just for sharing. Peace!

By the way, looking for a trustworthy salesman who can provides excellent service with good reputation. Hopefully can meet a decent person with decent attitude. Please PM. Thanks! smile.gif

I used to engage and deal with Rxxx previously too, so far no hassle and problem. Care to share what is actually happened? Is it something to do for empty promise or related to money?
I believe it is Taman Tun Dr. Ismail; guess this is the branch location:- No 6-6-0 (Ground Floor) Sinaran TTDI, Jalan Tun Moohd Fuad 3, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, 60000 KL (Opposite Maybank TTDI), 60000 Kuala Lumpur.

Yes it was an empty promise on a showroom unit car. It was this salesman Zxx.

Saturday at the showroom he said you have the priority to get the car first, please get your loan done (never mention anything about first come first serve). So my friend talked to the banker on Monday and confirmed the loan will be approved on Wednesday. Tuesday he called and say "oh sorry the car is sold. First come first serve." -> my friend's effort and time wasted rclxms.gif

Then he returned to offer another NEW car with little little rebate and said he can get you 95% loan. My friend says that was insulting because the salesman thinks he cannot even afford to pay the down payment. Even with 95% loan the interest will be higher and in long term that is a lost. This is how salesman treats people sometimes. mad.gif

This is just to share a friend's bad experience and hopefully you guys can be cautious. Peace!

Did your friend put down a deposit for the car? If not he cannot really expect the car to be reserved for him. Although not explicitly stated the rule is still first come first serve. The SA may have made the same offer to more than one person and then accept the first confirmed offer. Then it's a case of dashed expectation, not actually broken promise.

Some buyers welcome as big loan as possible so they can reserve their cash for something else. I don't think the SA meant to be insulting by offering 95% loan. He could be trying to be helpful.

I'm not related or associated with the SA or the showroom. Just voicing my opinion.
*
Thank you for your opinion. Now we finally understand the trick here. When my friend mentioned about deposit the SA said "Oh no need because this is not a new car so no deposit required". Guess that's what they did to fool everyone. Perhaps my friend was too naive to believe the SA, even when we were at the showroom the SA said "Hey you must really grab this opportunity, and give me the opportunity to serve you bla bla bla".

We respect your opinion but if you are in the middle of this sort of scam, you will definitely feel cheated and insulted.

Dear SAP123,

I'm Rxxx, the one u mentioned in the FORUM. By the way let me introduce myself to you. I'm RICO by the way.
Before you advertise my name in the FORUM, do check with me to get the actual fact. U can condemn any of my staffs and we will always learn and improve to serve customer in better way. However, the way u say was only 1 side of the story.
1st) we mentioned that we do not collect any bookings in order to avoid these kind of arguments, we foresee this kind of situation might happen if we collect booking to reserve the car but my question to you, do my staff collect any bookings from you and sell to another customer of his. If this is the case, we will take action against him of his misbehave.
*
As I mentioned in my previous post as below, Zxx didn't collect any deposit, so on paper he didn't do anything wrong.
So he still able to maintain as best employee of the year, only with some frustrated customers walking away feeling cheated.
And we didn't "condemn" Zxx, we share out the fact and experience on how to be careful with what TTDI Zxx say or promise.
You may check with Zxx on how true the story we have been sharing with the public, or maybe not necessary, because you were on the spot too.

[Thank you for your opinion. Now we finally understand the trick here. When my friend mentioned about deposit the SA said "Oh no need because this is not a new car so no deposit required". Anyway, when damage is done, people tend to avoid responsibility and push to another person or even blame the customer? Time will tell the truth, we are never afraid because we never do anything wrong or "condemn" anyone. (I bet you know it but trying hard to protect TTDI reputation) And of course you know we are very friendly and educated person because we met before, unless you want to twist the story again and again.

We will take it as a good learning lesson. To improve or not, it depends on whether the SA wants to be a better person. Peace!

Furthermore,
We have no intention to insult any of our customers at all.
We treat customers with full respect, ESPECIALLY me myself.
I registered myself in this FORUM just to reply to your thread because I want to clear out the air and find a better solution for misunderstanding my staff had with you.
I served a lot of customers before and never ever I insult or disrespect any of my customers whether they purchase or not purchase the car from me. Today most of them are my friends and still keep in touch for any updates in Mazda model.
If you have any enquiries, you are always welcome to contact me at
019-9885666.
I will do my best to help out.
Again,we never promise if we can't deliver.
That why we mentioned to you that is based on 1st come 1st serve basis and we never collect any booking/deposit from either parties.
We also informed you that the car was sold before you proceed with your loan.
In order not to disappoint you further, we offer you with a Brand New unit of Mazda 3 with some promotion offered by the management however is kind of sad to hear a different side of story condemning us in the net.
I was pleased that some of my customers & friends who know me stand up and helping me to clear the air between you and me.
I will take note of these and I will improve to serve everyone better.
Thank you

Here it comes the "story"!

"That why we mentioned to you that is based on 1st come 1st serve basis and we never collect any booking/deposit from either parties."
---> We only heard this fantastic phrase after the car is sold.

"We also informed you that the car was sold before you proceed with your loan."
---> Hopefully one day you will have the courage to be a man and tell the truth

We don't care how people judge us, maybe some will categorize us as some frustrated customers.
We are being kind to inform others not to get cheated next time. Peace!

Got my M3 high spec aluminium silver today, booked on mid May.
The wind and tyre noise above 100km/h is quite significant, no weird sound (yet) when going through the bump. Sound system is a little bit of let down. Surprisingly i-stop is too responsive, activated a few times when queuing for toll, the longest it last was more than 2 minutes at traffic light, the light turned green after that so I am not sure how long it can actually lasts. Quite satisfied with how i-stop functions. Other than that everything so far so good. Thumbs up for Mazda!

Normally at traffic light, i used to put to neutral and put on handbrake and release my step on the brake pedal.. Is it will activate i-stop though? Anyone tried before?

Yes it will, if all the conditions are met.

Estimate price?

Heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that his friend's mazda6 got into a severe accident. The insurance only cover the repaint for the damaged part but he wanted to repaint the whole car. Sent the car to Glenmarie Body & Paint and it cost him RM8000. The 4 layers soul red is nice to look at but not so friendly in price.
