Initially was considering Altis (Highest spec) and Jetta (not so much due to DSG).

Other cars like Camry, Teana, Accord not on my list as they appear a bit 'uncle' (no offence to anyone).

So narrowed down to either Altis or Mazda3 (or Ford Ranger if I do go for a more practical route).

Only saw the Maz3 in the showroom but they didnt have a test unit so couldnt test drive. But when the SA started the car, it was harsh - but I gave the benefit of the doubt and assume it was due to it not starting for quite some time.

Civic is dated and to be honest, I don't like the rear lights (of the current model)

tribos is overprice...

Later, some people sit on your car, push here push there. Slam the door kuat-kuat. children go inside jumping here and there, if you not around, salesman drove your car out, let other customer testdrive it.   

That is what happen to me. I got the first batch and first car. Because no demo car, the showroom use my car as showroom car. I shoot the SA and insist no one to be sit on.

Yeah. They say don't worry. They locked already right? Me too. I found out when I was there talking to another SA. Then this guy with another SA wanna sit inside my car. I stared at the SA, then he quickly say this car is sold.. That time, my reg. number haven't got yet. So, they put a mazda 3 plate on it. I told the SA I'm not happy. If I'm not there, sure got children jumpin in my car already. 
Forgot and no proof because SA can say he drove your car to puspakom for inspection.

Tribos coating makes your ride look shiny and it protects your paint from getting dull faster than without coating.
It does what other coating brands do actually.

However, it does not protect your car from stone chips as well as bugs sticking at your bumper when you drive fast at night on the highway.
Other coating also doesn't offer any protection from these.

For maintenance, I wash my car on my own since washing outside could damage your coating layer if they use non pH-7 shampoo.
On the other hand, washing with water is more than enough for light dust / dirt which is fairly easy.
For slightly heavy dirt, use a natural pH car wash shampoo.
After each wash, wipe your car clean otherwise you may start to see watermarks.
Yes, it is overpriced and over rated I think.
Even for half the price.
Actually, I did Tribos coating to my Mazda3 meteor grey. 

My opinion is it is quite troublesome to maintain it but after each wash you will always admire the shine.
The only easy part is cleaning my rims where the brake dust easily washed away by water. 

I would still not go for Tribos as there's other better options out there

As a Tribos customer, I concurred with XiuKeong.
Partly due to how they treat their customer, I'm not happy how they explained to me about the care and the warranty.
I heard about how they intend to not honor their 3-year warranty but since I just had my car Tribos-ed for only 3 months, I haven't experience that yet.

There are other brands that offer yearly free re-coat.
Go for that, or just go for polish and paint sealant every 3-6 months.
The accumulated damage is about the same IMO.

Regular weekly car wash w/ wax & polish twice per year.

Anyone have jalan to install Auto Lock / Unlock for the car .. quite dangerous for my mom who normally just goes in the car and expect the car to lock .
