For the lower arm squeaking sound, it is like a 10 year old car going pass a bump.

Done with tinting with Huber Optik once the car got out from the showroom. Did it at City Auto Tint along Jln Sg Besi. Gonna check for outcome later again since it's 2 days now.

p/s: The manual book is freaking thick btw rclxub.gif

Coz there are a lot of explanation in it that's not applicable to us. :S

It is true. There is a lagging on between switching gear.

This is because Skyactiv GB combines the best of CVT and DCT.

So, at low end, you feel like driving a CVT gearbox. At mid to high end, you feel like driving DCT (Although I never tried DCT before.  sweat.gif )

However, the Driven episode didn't mention that the Altis they using comes with bodykit, which you need to topup RM2,500 (Or is it comes with?)

So, up to the viewers discretion. But one thing is again, why they keep saying handling for Mazda 3 is same as Altis.

This is the most confusing of all for because Mazda 3 or Focus or even Persona.. All will say handling is 4/5 ratings.

I must go test drive Altis corner at 100km/h. Is it really good handling.
*
Before this, I had Toyota Altis 1.8 Dual VVTI (the previous model) and the handling for that Altis is crap, cornering at 70 - 80 kmh feels like you gonna flip. Not sure about the new one but I think not much different.

I got to praise m3 for the awesome cornering, done a "not-so-sharp" corner at about 120 and still feels solid.

and yet, we are so much underrated here~ biggrin.gif

I think its because of the price bro.

For the same Segment, Honda and Toyota are offering so much more with cheaper price. For the amount we pay, buyer can top up a little more the get a different segment.

Edit: this said, our m3 wins a thousand miles in terms of design!

Greetings to all Mazda 3 owners,

I'm planning to get the Mazda3 Skyactiv by year end or early next week.

Can you advise what are the pros and cons to expect from this car.

The most usual issue I noticed from forums and feedback is the tire noise.

Does it help if the wheels lower to 17" rims?

Appreciate your advise. Thanks for your time.

Bro, if you are getting it, why not wait till next year to get the car manufacturing date to be 2015. At least your resale value won't be slashed when you are planning to sell it.

Must be clearing CBU stocks..

Meaning,  CKD will better equip?  vmad.gif

Next month, to install Pivot Throttle Controller for my Mazda 3. I'll let you guys know the outcome.. If each pay me RM2..  thumbup.gif

If CKD has better EQs, us CBU units have a chance to purchase those acc to be installed on ours. smile.gif

Eh.. You change already? That day I go complain about the sound in Bermaz. They add more lubricant and surprisingly, after a month, still no sound. Solved?  hmm.gif
*
Yeah I changed. The ride got a bit rougher coz I think they tighten the lower arm bush a bit more but after raining. the sound is back. now even the back has the ngek ngek sound.

Mazda should really just stick to using conventional lower arm bush and not using these faulty ones. It doesn't just affect Mazda 3, it also affects Mazda 6, CX-5!
