Depends on your loan amount and repayment period. Ask around. YMMV.

I've heard MBB offering 2.55 for 108K over 7 years.

hi all taiko and sifu, jetta or m3? still considering!

hi, I actually tested quite some number of C segment in Malaysia over the few months, and will give you my opinions on the 2 cars you asked:

1) Mazda 3 - I decided to buy the high spec after tested the GL and high spec, good look, good handling, nice paddle shift just that no more soul red color and the cabin size quite bad
the GL spec I tested, the road handling not so good as the high spec but the tyre noise of the high spec is more significant in the cabin, the high spec I test drive get to 140+km/h easily and the car is still stable

2) VW Jetta - actually everything is good and with 0% interest its quite good, except the look is too old for a 20+ youngster like me. if for family car actually better than Mazda 3, got rear air-cons and better cabin size. the noise insulation is far better than Mazda 3, get to 120km/h and still nice and clear and stable. but the paddle shift, after used need to hold it down few seconds to turn it off is also another down point compare to Mazda 3.

Nothing but Jetta! after test drive with Jetta.. super LIKE
Well, very strong improvement from VW recently.. you can ask around
Well.. Jetta still my choice.. press for discount... now VW push on marketing...

as long as you like it, it's always the best buy. rclxms.gif
i also decided on mazda 3 after tested 10++ of C segment cars available.
just based purely on performance and design look wise,
mazda 3 is first in my list, vw jetta second and peugeot 408 griffe edition is third, just too bad griffe red color also out of stock.
and Citroen leather seat leave the best impression of car seat on me drool.gif
engine and noise suppression wise, jetta is better but handling and paddle shift mazda 3 is a bit better for me.
and as i said, the look of jetta is too old for a 20+ like me biggrin.gif

about the maintenance problem, VW do slightly have a little more problem. so need slightly more care.
do have few friends that always post fb to complain her car went into workshop again and the worst case is have to toll her car back to workshop.
but also has a friend that has his VW jetta running for 4 years without any problem at all.
some measurement might be always check the engine oil and auto gearbox oil...
and if travelling to work mean stuck in heavy traffic jam for hours or so, mean the VW need even more care...
