just got my car yesterday thanks to Mr. Lucifal  smile.gif

it is true there is a lag for gear shifting and i can feel it even though i m not really a car person.
still it is acceptable for me and there is peddle shift as alternative.

overall it is a cool and sexy car to get.  thumbup.gif

I think its because of the price bro.

For the same Segment, Honda and Toyota are offering so much more with cheaper price. For the amount we pay, buyer can top up a little more the get a different segment.

this m3 is my first car coz kinda noob in car stuff..
am thinking of doing coating too...
but some suggest waxing instead
any idea to share guys? smile.gif

Waxing has its advantage. It protect the paint from all elements and the same time will keep your car shine & glossy. However just like the paint it can also become dull over time. Depending of the type of wax waxing will have to be repeated every one month to a few months. Other then that your car will also require periodic polishing as the wax become thicker and fill with minor scratches like swirl mark.
On the other hand, glass coating will require far less maintenance and washing the car will be easier. The down side of coating is the cost. It can be expensive but it will be worthwhile for those who want their car to remain shining & glossy but require the least effort. hmm.gif

We do have attractive package for coating & tint. Welcome to contact me & click picture below for more info. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi guys, did anyone exprience gps satellite failure over here? my GPS had not been working since the first day I received my car which is in June (no satelitte signal and the pointer remain in Bangkok). I have wasted a lot of time to send my car back to Glenmarie svc to check and they finally replaced my car's control unit with a brand new one imported from Japan last week and the whole process took more than 5 hours!

Unfortunately the GPS is still not working .... the satelittle signals remain as 0 for most of the times although the map is now positioning in Malaysia. any suggestions?

QUOTE(wInGs88 @ Aug 27 2014, 11:19 PM)
Encountered the same problem after tinted my car. Apparently it blocked all the satellite signals. Went back to the shop and after many hours of testing they resolved the problem by installing a separate receiver...

The original receiver still remains inside my car but the Navigation system connects to the new satellite receiver somewhere near inside my car hood.
*
Some type of tint will effect the satellite signal to certain degree. Use Nano-Ceramic type tint instead.

People familiar with the industry have seen much advancement in the field, but none as substantial as ceramic window tint. This is a very durable product that stands above its peers in terms of longevity. It also has the highest heat rejection levels compared to other materials. It has double the heat rejection of hybrid and dyed products. Because it uses no metal of any kind, there is no interference with technology found in modern vehicles.
It is also of a higher quality and strength than other materials, and has the ability to hold shattered glass together better than its competition.

Many of the high-end metallic films cannot compete with ceramic window tint when it comes to longevity and durability. It is much more resilient when it comes to fading, bubbling, cracking and the ever so common discoloring after years of use.

Sorry Care-Man, but it really happened to me  smile.gif

Please check with the tint shop you went to and seek an explanation if you really suspect it is the tint. If the explanation is logical do post it here so everyone can understand.

I drove my car for a week before i send to tint and navigation system was working fine.

They even tested the new receiver inside my car cabin but it doesn't work before install it outside my car cabin.
They said have never had this problem before and has spent hours to work and test my car.

Anyhow, I'm fine with the solution as long as my navigation system working and it doesn't void the warranty.
So far after 6 months installation, I'm happy with the heat rejection  rclxms.gif

At least you know the tint works.Do what it is suppose to do and that is heat rejection. biggrin.gif

Many sales people provide pure sales services & delivery. Most of their objectives are to provide a good buying experience to their customers (irrespective of brand).

We try to be different. We not only provide a good buying experience, but strive to provide also a good ownership experience as well. Hence why our dealership is a 3S with repair & claim facilities, so that during your ownership period of the car, you will only enjoy the drive & ownership ONLY and leave all the problems to us !!

Of course, this type of experience might not be the requirement of everyone though.

Care-man is that true  Huper Optik will absorb the saman if I got them?
*
Yes, certainly saman will be covered. 5 years JPJ warranty and 10 years product warranty. Unless for tint which was not JPJ compliance and was installed at customer request will not be covered. If you are uncertain do go back and check where you had your car tint done.
