vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Yesterday I was reverse parking in Damansara Jaya. As I was slowly reversing, I felt my rear bumper hit something. vmad.gif

But the sensor was beeping that I still got some distance away and my rear was not facing a wall, just a shoplot.

Someone signalling me that I hit something. As soon as I stopped the beep is still saying I got some distance to the next object.

I came down, saw my rear bumper (black color section) hit a metal box. Got scratches. vmad.gif

I should have take video and complain to Bermaz for lousy, inaccurate reverse sensor. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Yesterday I was in Damansara Jaya, reverse parking to a parking lot in front of those interior deco shop.

As I was reversing slowly, listening to the beep sound and suddenly, hear a crack sound.

A nice guy behind signalling me that I hit something. WTF!! The sensor sound like I still got space!!! When I move forward a bit, saw a scratch on my bottom bumper. There was a solid container there and the sensor didn't sense it!!!  vmad.gif

Earlier, I heard my SA saying that original Mazda 3 rear sensor cost USD900 and Bermaz changed it to local product.

Now, I thinking, should have ask Bermaz to give me back that USD900 rear sensor.  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Cheaper.. But I remember seeing somewhere the reverse sensor for M3 is quite advance.

When you reverse, it shows on your MZD screen of the distance.. hmm.gif

Eh.. You change already? That day I go complain about the sound in Bermaz. They add more lubricant and surprisingly, after a month, still no sound. Solved? hmm.gif

After 9 months, everyday, when looking at balcony, see my car, just feeling its telling me.

"What a great day. Feeling need for speed?"

Yeah I changed. The ride got a bit rougher coz I think they tighten the lower arm bush a bit more but after raining. the sound is back. now even the back has the ngek ngek sound.

Mazda should really just stick to using conventional lower arm bush and not using these faulty ones. It doesn't just affect Mazda 3, it also affects Mazda 6, CX-5!
