yea its very minimal only.. acceptable by mE! but if it can be perfect.. then much betterĀ  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Good to hear it is very minimal. If it gets louder can always get it fixed by SC. There is no perfect car. Even new cars from Toyota and Honda can have issues. I'll rather have this than dashboard buzzing, door panel rattling, seats squeeking or engine jerking which are very difficult to solve. Touchwood!

Anyone here installed stuffit  ? need review , whether is worth it  ( reduce Tyre & wind noise)

https://www.facebook.com/stuffitmalaysia

Wind noise I can believe but to cut down on road noise using rubber lining is totally ineffective. If your wind noise is reduced your road noise will appear louder so it's no point unless you treat the whole car including insulation for door panels, under carriage and boot.

There is a lot of Mazda 3 accessories on this facebook site but you have to request to join first. The response is quite fast.

i too agree on this, the insulation of the car is nt tht good, if u are really into reduce noise entering the cabin, undercarriage, front/rear bonnet+ 4 doors insulation with rubber lining state would be the most efficient, otherwise its quite pointless
*
And the whole treatment will cost a few K's ringgit. It also requires dismantling the seats, door panels and pillar panels which may possibly introduce squeaks, humming and rattling in future. Even with full treatment the best you can hope for is 50%-60% noise reduction. I would just accept whatever the manufacturer has given in terms of NVH. As SC guys like to say, "It's like that wan". laugh.gif

Installing bodykits will void warranty?? Roughly how much for those already installed? The color is following the body color or black??
*
It is ridiculous to void warranty for installing bodykits but greedy car manufacturers who also sell bodykits can write their own rules. I think the answer depends on individual companies. This is something to be checked directly with Bermaz.

Great idea. The protruding touchscreen of the M3 makes an excellent support for a 7" tablet. All we need for a full Android head unit is to devise some method to clip/unclip the tablet to the HU. No need to cut wire. No need for complicated mirrorlink or miracast. Won't void warranty. Just attach and play.  thumbup.gif

As for Mazda's RM1200 price... HIGHWAY ROBBERY!  rclxub.gif
*
Errmm...actually that doesn't make it an Android H.U. You can't project the audio through the car speakers. But OK for navigation and better than using smartphone la. And definitely better than paying Mazda RM1200 for navi maps which are inferior to Google map and Waze.

I just turn up the air-con and forget about tinting. There are few tints which really comply with JPJ. Aside from saving a bundle I avoid possible problems like interference with GPS and smart tag, spoiling the rear window demister, opened door panels making noise, risk of shoddy work spoiling the interior finish and future problems with police road block, JPJ and Puspakom. Forget about protection from UV rays, they do not penetrate through glass. The average car owner has been brainwashed into thinking that tinting is the first thing to do with a new car but I beg to differ.

The cars are assigned to the buyer before they are sent down to the dealer. Even the dealer has no control over this.

So do we pay the DP before or after the car arrive in the showroom? Can we refuse to pay the DP if we are dissatisfied with the car?

Guys, found out in Paultan's review mentioned the new Mazda3 2.0's rpm is way too high at over 2500rpm @ 100km/hr? But another review from canadianautoreview mentioned it  is less than 2000rpm, before i go test drive to find out, anyone could confirm which is true? Btw, if rpm is this high, i doubt the fuel consumption will be at the higher side, so called the compression ratio 14:1 is not fuel saving afterall?
*
You consider 2500 rpm @100 km/hr too high? I really don't think so. Most cars are around this rpm in top gear at 100 km/hr. The rpm has been designed by the manufacturer to suit its gear ratio, torque and engine output at a certain speed. Nothing to worry about whether it is high or not.

As for fuel consumption the Skyactiv engine is known to very economical from users' reports.

Yes it was an empty promise on a showroom unit car. It was this salesman Zxx.

Saturday at the showroom he said you have the priority to get the car first, please get your loan done (never mention anything about first come first serve). So my friend talked to the banker on Monday and confirmed the loan will be approved on Wednesday. Tuesday he called and say "oh sorry the car is sold. First come first serve." -> my friend's effort and time wasted  rclxms.gif

Then he returned to offer another NEW car with little little rebate and said he can get you 95% loan. My friend says that was insulting because the salesman thinks he cannot even afford to pay the down payment. Even with 95% loan the interest will be higher and in long term that is a lost. This is how salesman treats people sometimes.  mad.gif

This is just to share a friend's bad experience and hopefully you guys can be cautious. Peace!
*
Did your friend put down a deposit for the car? If not he cannot really expect the car to be reserved for him. Although not explicitly stated the rule is still first come first serve. The SA may have made the same offer to more than one person and then accept the first confirmed offer. Then it's a case of dashed expectation, not actually broken promise.

Some buyers welcome as big loan as possible so they can reserve their cash for something else. I don't think the SA meant to be insulting by offering 95% loan. He could be trying to be helpful.

I'm not related or associated with the SA or the showroom. Just voicing my opinion.

there is a "functional" sharkfin antennae , in fact most model of mazda 3 on other country comes with it as standard.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-BLUE-REFLE...37f0c7b&vxp=mtr

theres also just for looks , which look the same ( almost? ) but much much easier to fix. n much cheaper
actually its not. but it seem i also have the same problem "10 sec i-stop deactivate "

the problem haven because my car is , well , always "hot" bcoz i use less aircon

after using auto , it the i-stop seem "normal " upto 30 sec stopage time just because my car is "cool" enuf
*
If you use less aircon the i-stop should last longer because the load on the battery is less. I thought this is the way it is supposed to work?

few questions:

1. when we start the car, by default the radio will be turned on. how do we start the car without turning on the radio by default?

2. in mazda connect, in Settings, Vehicle, Lighting, and select Auto Lighting On. There's setting of medium, medium-low, low etc....what is this Auto Lighting On setting for?

3. what is the latest version of mazda connect? For mine, i checked under Settings, System, About and the OS version is 51.0.300 in mazda connect.

4. can we manually update the NAV map? I was told by the SA that we cant take out the SD card as it's locked by the car system unless it's being done by the SC.
*
On the first page of this thread, Post #2 there are instructions on how to upgrade the navi map.

*
How fast do you go through the bumps before you hear the krok krok sound?

Even from the same bank interest rate will vary depending on amount, duration and credit risk of borrower.

Any way to add the keyless entry on the low spec model? Got push start but no keyless entry means still have to take out the key.

Seems to be a common problem with the CBU model as well, as I read from much earlier posts in this thread (starting from page 1, lol). So not only CKD models affected. Something to do with the lower arm brush.
*
So the sound may not be due to the lower arm bush because the cars are new and there is no time for the bush to wear out. It may be due to a design issue. To me it's not a big deal as it only happens when going at speed over bumpy road. Other cars have far worse problems like VW's DSG, Ford's DCT and Peugeot's HP pump which will leave you stranded by the roadside. Even if we don't compare with Conti cars most Cerato owners have dashboard sounds in their new cars which to me is even more annoying.
