I checked, 2 titanium left. 5k discount + leather seat n caplang tint. Promo is not that hot if u ask me. What u guys think?

I am a MZ3 owner from Thailand.

I have a couple of questions to discuss with you guys regarding the reprogramming Electronic Management System to fix problem related with engine going stall.

I happen to know that Mazda Malaysia has informed its customers to bring their mazda3s to have them updated. This was done to prevent the engine from choking or perhaps going stall at low rpm.

The situation in Thailand is no differ from Malaysia. However the Mazda Thailand has just started doing this (tuning the EMS) with their customers yesterday.

Since the users in Malaysia have been through this kind of situation before the Thais, so I would like to know if the reprogramming of EMS can really fix the problem?

It would be very kind of you If you could share with me any information that you think might benefit to all mz3 users.

hi n welcome! i am an owner of cbu japan unit but i got my ride AFTER the recall , basically it a recall on all owners and the fix involve owner come to service centre to get their ECU reprogram , it was back in early 2014? ( maybe some owner here will clarity ) AFAIK after reading most of the thread even earlier version , no issue arise after the fix.

I personally never counter any such problem , most of time low rpm driving also.

if i were u i shall seek more dealers n make em fight for more discount n more freebies , i mean that kinda offer is almost the same i got last year with full tank gas summore. n yea , ditch the chapalang tint n ask for something else or straight more discount

Ok i seriously will pay good money for this feature , i mean seriously

Ask them to further rebate if u want to do ur own tinting, they will probably reduce about 1200 or so

at least u get a full tank, the dealer i deal with is such an A-hole, promise many thing but never deliver, will never deal with them again if i ever want a mazda

I got recall for reprogramming of ECU. Honestly, no difference at all. Still need manual overwrite when at low RPM..

That is why I'm observing the car on highway, traffic and uphill roads.

a. Highway: No difference. Still felt the dragging of the engine, especially you accelerate harder (probably 2/5)

b. Heavy Traffic: No difference. Average speed is 20-30km/h so no comment

c. Uphill road: Still testing but first few slopes (around 15% slope), felt the GB did not shift to lower gear, even RPM at 2,000

Need to replace. If still under warranty, FOC

wash my car today found many unknown minor scratches, plan to polish it around june, any good polisher or is meguair the only brand ppl trust?

Some say turtle wax not bad also. Haven't try any of those yet

i did constantly wax my car, but those minor stretch probably caused by random ppl passby and knock the car with something, mostly on the rear parts :/
and swirling start to form cos i always park under hot sun
guess june have to fully polish it

Usually change both side unless suggested by SC to change the broken one only

Anyone know a good sales agent to recommend?

I'd like to get the CBU unit if the rebates are good enough.
