Yea. I guess that's the disadvantage for playing Fab in pivot. He'll often join up in attack. Leaving only Matic in pivot. Last season at with Ramires + Matic in pivot, our defending seems to be better. Maybe coz Ram help out in defense more than Fab.

Btw, with Ram coming on in the 2nd half, we played so much better. Kept the ball better, and work rate oso higher in closing down the opposition's defender and midfielder.

1st half, Swansea was playing like us. Closing our pivot and defenders non stop. But in 2nd half, with Ram, seems like it's our usual self. Closing down on opponent defense quick to win back the ball.

Ram + Fab + Matic in 433 is damn solid yo.

Basically a tactical masterclass by Mou. He see the game plan is not working. Our pivot and defenders getting close down by Swansea players too quickly, Fab not doing so well defensively. So he sub in Ramires for Schurrle.

With Ramires, MAtic and Fab, we seem to control the midfield and possession better.
