Based on my experience, at BHP, they usually have 2 terminals at the counter: Affin and UOB.

You have to refer to your receipt to know which terminal they swiped for but I think you'll earn both.

So, can get cash rebate AND SmartCash when reload TnG at BHPetrol? drool.gif

Technically YES because UOB will honour it as a petrol transaction.

how much is the service charge levied by BHPetrol for TnG reload? Can the rebate more than cover it?

I swiped RM101, rebate RM5.05 plus Smart$ RM2.02 = RM7.07, paid RM1 (service charge), RM0.50 (reload fee) plus RM0.03 (6% GST), you do the math biggrin.gif

Update on PETRONAS@Kinrara, there's RM1 fee charged by PETRONAS applicable if u use CC, no GST though. But if u using cash back/rebate cards with >2%, it's worth it.

TS cybpsych pls update Post #1 icon_rolleyes.gif

oops, missed your updated.

Petronas kinrara updated to latest transaction by you.

p/s: I'm not allowed to add the cc surcharge info because merchant is violating the visa/mastercard rules (for imposing surcharge).

dah dah dah. no need further flaming the issue. this is not Nando's grilling page tongue.gif

easy to trace: when u paid RM1 cash, what amount you reloaded?

ok, let's wait for ur update this weekend  thumbup.gif
*
Cos I remember, even before I tell him the amount that I wanna reload...

"Bos, nak reload TnG dengan CC, boleh?"
"Boleh, tapi tambah RM1"
Then only I say, "Ok, I nak top up RM100"

Just wait for my update this weekend for confirmation wink.gif

Reloaded RM150 and paid RM2 surcharge

1. If you want to use UOB One to reload, better to reload at BHP as it gives you 5% + 2% smart$.
2. RM1 for RM100 reload, so you should reload RM200 instead of RM150 since both also need to pay RM2 right?
3. Did you tag me just now? How come I got a notice for your post? biggrin.gif
*
I tagged and edited, cos missed that u wrote BHPetrol

So far all BHPetrol I went to, refused to let me reload using CC.

Cos I'm using ONE Classic, max petrol spend eligible for cash back is only RM300. Already close to the limit for this billing cycle, if I reload RM200, RM50 won't get any cash back. tongue.gif

Good to know this.

All these while, I thought it would be considered as normal retail transaction (0.3% cash back) since it is not done at pump dispenser machine.
*
I checked my last month statement already, I got 5% on TnG reload at PETRONAS counter

Successfully reloaded RM100 at BHP Damansara Utama, Uptown yesterday using UOB One.

Unfortunately Tesco Kepong still accept cash only.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 26 2015, 01:35 PM)
It's normal for most of the places to charge RM 0.53 for reload. We reload RM 100 and will nly get RM 99.47. So, this place just adds another RM 1.00 as service charge.
*
QUOTE(Devil4life @ Oct 26 2015, 01:24 PM)
Did you ask what's the maximum per reload that they will charge RM0.53? Is it RM200?

And RM1 charges for every RM100 top up right?

ADDED: The additional charges also swipe card or need pay cash like PETRONAS Kinrara one
*
So, it's 50 sen plus 6% GST for reload fee
And RM1 surcharge for using CC

If using UOB ONE on weekends, BHPetrol will have a marginal benefit over PETRONAS Kinrara then smile.gif

P.S. At PETRONAS Kinrara I swipe RM101 by card get RM100 value
