Another shopping mall again..

By looking at the news is really exciting..

But then in fact do we really need so many mall..

In OUG - BJ area soon will have pavilion 2 and paradigm 3, plus existing redelopment of Plaza OUG.. plus this..
Not to forget all the retail style concept like Scott Garden, Pearl Point, 9 Seputeh stretch until MV...

looks like every 1Km radius will have 1.. Wonder how the tenant survive then

until now none of the mall is successful within OKR.
OKR is land of curse for all malls. now see how development will turn out. still way too close to mighty midvalley.

taman desa pipu usually will go to midvalley. scott too trouble for them make u turn.
for plaza oug.... taman desa pipu need to get pass the congested wet market area not easy too.

wah got 60 acres... very huge...
but add on the left and right parking area... doesn't look like got 60 acres..... smack the shoplots beside it also and sambung to lucky plaza?

I think more or less the price psf are same ~ 800psf.....except Exism will slightly lower maybe 600psf...

ya... Pearl Point, Lucky Plaza never success...

Plaza OUG was famous at old time .. with large Cinema.. but then cannot run the fate and gonna redevelop...

Ppl will still choose MV or Sunway via Kesas..

Lets see upcoming Pavilion and Paradigm in nearby area...

Only things is the tenant gonna suffer.. Just like SG

i think they should just allow one large mall there which is Pavillion 2 ( I doubt it could be half as successful as Pavi 1)
Guys today's edge got article saying retail growth slowing down.
Cost of living especially house prices have spiralled up, some people can't afford to shop as much as before
