Well it much depends on you, if you like the Mac OS and have enough budget, of course you can always opt for a Macbook Pro. I personally never use a HP laptop before but I have seen many HP users complaining HP laptops can be easily get overheated when the time goes. Thus, I would suggest you to go for Dell or Lenovo. For the processor wise, it is much depends on your usage, if you got the budget and want to go for a higher speed one then i7 is your choice otherwise i5 should be enough for most of the everyday tasking.
