Revised my budget. University student here in need of new laptop

1. No preferred brand
2. Budget less than 3k
3. Used for assignments, gaming (wolfenstein, watchdogs etc), photo/ video editing, web browsing
4. Preferred screen size 14~15.6"
5. Battery life and smooth multitasking an added bonus.

I've done some research and found that the lenovo y40 or y410 to be my best options. Which one should I get? Other suggestions are more than welcome. smile.gif

I know specs are different, but they are almost the same in terms of power.

But which one of the three is sturdier and can last longer?

WHICH IS THE BETTER DEVICE xD

the 1st HP model is better (due to the Hybrid HDD) but what is your usage at the 1st place?

I am using it mainly for programming, but since I will be away from my desktop I might actually use it for gaming too.

Dota 2, CS GO, and many more.

I am mainly concerned about build quality and comfort. Especially keyboard!

Budget 2k+-
