Current laptop spec:
Acer 4830TG

have been using this laptop for more than 3 years, thinking to buy a new laptop with better processor (lookin for i7 quad core)

1. Preferred Brand: Any brand with good aftersale service (warranty)
2. Budget : Max RM3,500
3. Usage : Daily usage for thesis writing (few hundred microsoft word with picture), HD movies and Photoshop
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : Not heavy not more than 15" (max)

Eye on this model:
http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-14-7447-...?oc=w510831myw8

Any other model that I can compare or consider within my budget?

Hello sir sifus. My VAIO just kicked the bucket after some video editing. It was a netbook anyways, memang tak larat for video editing. So, please sifus help me to recommend a better laptop.

Brand: Don't mind, w/ Nvidia preferably
Budget: RM2000 - RM2500, maybe could stretch to 3k but less likely
Usage: Video editing, photo editing, and Titanfall.
Size: Don't mind

Extra question, if I may. Is it possible for me to upgrade my graphics card like to a GTX,  maybe when I have extra pocket cash in the future after I've bought the laptop?

1. Preferred Brand: any reliable and reputable brand
2. Budget: < RM2k, lower the better
3. Usage: net surfing, office document, and very little on watching movie
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14 inch

I have done some research, and physically went to check out from shops. I think Core i3 with 4GB & 500GB HDD suits my needs, and Dell Inspiron 14 3000 & Lenovo G40 series specification should be sufficient. However, I am not too sure whether the above mentioned brands & models are reliable and durable. Grateful if someone could help to advice if you have better recommendation from other brands or models.

Thanks for your reply. I prefer with Windows pre-installed, and any reason why do I need so high spec with my very basic usage? I think Core i5 and Nvidia have really overkilled what I really need, don't you think so? Can I have second opinion besides Dell? Because I am helping my wife to buy, so she will also needs to consider if she likes the exterior. Thank you!
*
bro we offer u long term solution. so u dun need buy another 1 for her in 3 4 yrs time. i3 spec not lasting.
