Hi All... Would just like to ask your opinion on working as finance trainee/executive in HSBC finance department...
One of my friends just got shortlisted for an interview soon this week and would like to ask how is the interview and aptitude test for a finance trainee/executive post... Any idea/advice? Another thing, how is the working culture/environment there? Advice again pls... Thanks a bunch!  |

Actually my friend didn't expect to be shortlisted because my friend only holds a honours bachelor degree in Biz. Admin majoring in Accounting... normally they would prefer to pick candidates with professional accounting qualification like ACCA/CIMA and has in depth accounting and finance background or experience. But, my friend has been working as an accounts executive in one of a MNC for almost a year now...thy mostly ask u about current afairs in the finance world. its best yr friend go read up on hsbc profile, like their financial statements, their current agenda of current local issues as well as international. on other times its more of get to know u basis. but more often thn not. try not to be nervous. Thanks for your advice...will let my friend know about it and hopefully can get it.....  |
