Does those lines occur even before booting into Windows (such as the startup logo and/or BIOS screen)? Does it always stay in the same place all the time (even at startup logo and/or BIOS screen)? If it does then very like the problem is the LCD panel (bonding tabs on the bottom section becoming "loose")... hmm.gif

Nopes, cannot be fixed/repaired by DIY methods, as special factory equipment is required to re-seal those bonding tabs (since they contain microscopic conductive traces). Usually the entire LCD panel has to be replaced. hmm.gif

LCD panel replacements very much depends on the cost of the LCD panel itself (different prices for different LCD panel brand and model), and these usually range anywhere from at least/minimum RM200 and always above that. You may want to inquire at the repair shop on the possible cost of repair first... wink.gif

I guess there goes entire rows of bonding tabs (which is usually sealed/glued by heat). An entire LCD panel replacement is looks to be necessary at the moment... hmm.gif
