the SOP when apply a CC, the CS will print out application form (latest updated) from PC.

she mentioned 100k before even look at the form, but i told her revised to 70k then only she look n check at the form.

i did it via twitter where i tweeted @mymaybank asking how to do it. after tht they will DM (direct message) asking for my mobile and someone from Maybank CS team will call back, and there's reference number to keep track after x number of working days still no sign of SMS notification can call back quote reference number.

with RM550 annual fee.

ya, just got this letter when i checked my mail box this morning

the next thing might happen is cut in CB from RM88 to RM50 or even lower...

i wonder whether they using "Maxis strategy" where people who dont care paying AF will continue using it...

WTA: for those who cancel this card, do u get retention team calling and offer waiver of AF?

Hi vin_ann, good morning. Generally the annual fee is FREE for the first year. Subsequent years would be FREE if you spend a min of RM50, 000 and above per annum. Further details of the charges will be available online via Maybank2u or quick balance once the annual fee imposed to your account. Once the annual fee billed on your credit card statement, the due date would be Twenty (20) days from the Closing Date of Billing Period appearing in the monthly statement of account.

Aiks... My cancellation seem "successful" when I was expecting someone to call me and offer waiver like previous comment posted by a forumer.

My request was sent via email ...

After that 3 days later I tweet @mymaybank to follow up...

Someone called and suggested I use my TP points in signature card before cancel as the TP is not transferable to other card.

Then suddenly he told me my card status is cancelled and he assisted me to try redeem the TP...

The TP is used for Aeon vouchers and will be send to my address in 2 to 3 weeks time.
