the following statements are just for fun(no offense)
I feel that MBB should rebrand this card to "Maybank Visa Signature for mini market taukeh, lorry/trucks driver" because to maximize RM88 cash back permonth with 5% rebate rate you need to spend RM1760 on either grocery or petrol or combine of both (for example RM880 for grocery and RM880). Failure to do that you have to cut the card next year before aniversary except MBB decided to be generous to waive the AF.
Says you max up 1760 exactly like most of the prosumer in this forum did for all the cards (to maximize rebate and not to let the bank win a cent) you actually spent RM21,120 per annum and you are still lack of 28,880 before your AF is waived automatically.
I bet most of the prosumers here have other card for utilities payments that provide cash back in different way. To fill the gap of another RM28,880 for 28800 TP that equivalent to RM 115.2 or 0.4% CB could be tricky for regular consumer. except elites like GENXY that may want to buy a Rolex, but i bet he has other card like MBB VI or AMEX premier that give him 5X TP and better enrich miles conversion.
hence i strongly suggest that all lorry/trucks drive who earn 100k per annum should apply for this card.
