Got my rebate today. This card is very useful whenever I've maxed up my MBB2Card AMEX. Plus, I pump petrol most of the time and shop frequently at Jaya Grocer and Tesco. I don't want to limit my shopping on weekend only.

I bought an iPad at AEON last month (RM1729). However, I did not get the rebate (RM88). Can the bank categorize this as "non-groceries" even though the payment was made at AEON?

Aeon department or Aeon supermarket?

Ah ok, it should be AEON department, not AEON supermarket (groceries). I guess it is not entitled for cashback?

You should have paid the bill at the Supermarket counter if you wanted the rebate smile.gif
But AEON cashier may reject you.

Last time I grabbed something from the department, carry it to the supermarket, but they rejected my payment. Told me to go upstairs to pay biggrin.gif

Can I utilize my Premier lounge entitlements(5 times a year) to bring in guest as well?

It has to be two cards. If it's somebody you trust, can sub your card for him/her.

every year, during the final statement of the year (statement for dec, which comes out in jan), all cards have a summary of total spending for the year.... i think it's a requirement from BNM, as all my statements from diff banks shows it as well... try checking your estatement, or physical statement, normally near the last page or top of the page
*
Ah...thanks for highlighting this..just noticed this in my Jan '16 statement. My spending for 2015 is around 30K+ and 12K(with BT), total 42K(not sure whether BT is included as part of 'spending').

Requested CS to waive and the PIC told me that it'll take them around 5-6 working-day to review my request.

Slim chance...within next week can know, have to be prepared to cut this cut if they refuse to waive it, even though it's very useful sad.gif

Noticed I've been charged with AF and it's still under unbilled. If I proceed to terminate this card, will MBB waive it, or I should've terminated the card before it appears in my unbilled statement?

CS told me that I need to pay anyhow...

Have you used the card after it is charged ? If yes then you have no choice  but to  pay. I doubt maybank will waive.

May i know when is your card approval  date and the date the annual fee is charged ? What is the expiry month shown at your card?

You mean, use the card after it appears in my unbilled? Yes, I used it as I did not realize it had appeared under my unbilled.

I think my approval date was 26/27 Jan '15 as the AF charge appeared on 27 Jan '16. Expiry shown on February, 02/xx.
