Applied for add on thru phone on 30/9/14. Appeared on m2u this morning. No hassle and quick processing. I love Maybank. Time to dump UOB Pref Plat VISA.

Depends what the CC receipt says either SMKT or DEPT for AEON stores (not AEON BiG).
Maybe you can check and feedback to us all.

Yesterday make a payment of RM1.80 via payWave..I think this is the lowest amount which I made thru payWave ... Hope to break it much lower... Hehe..

Buying groceries at AEON Supermarket cannot get 5% rebate. Maybe can get 5% rebate using their visa paywave. I have to use my mb2kard amex to get the 5% rebate over weekend

This Aeon Big and Aeon Supermarket in Aeon Departmental store is very confusing. Do they have different merchant codes even selling all the same groceries?

AEON big uses MCC5411 exclusively. As for AEON , they use MCC5411 for the supermarket section , and MCC 5311 for other department. But once in a while , some supermarket EDC will ends up elsewhere vv , so that is where someone will get unlucky !

The problem will occur when they swap credit card machines without correcting the MCC codes (eg upstairs dept store and downstairs supermarket).
