I got full rebate for paying bills at Sams Nu. May be the Aeon supermarket changed the MCC code?

I purchase groceries at AEON Supermarket in Midvalley, 1 utama and Tmn Maluri with 5% rebate last month
*
Yup, a few other guys also got it.

Didn't swipe VS for quite some time, so just to check again, transaction on 20th June, the 5% CB should be posted on 1st or 2nd of July right?

Also, the 5% amount is less than RM1. Even it is just few cents, it should be credited right? No policy that it must be over RM1.

Maybank CS is getting worse by days, no respond to email at all.

I was disappointed by MBB today.
Calling the CS hotline took more than 15mins to get connected to a person.
Ask about the waiver request.
Told it was "rejected" because I didn't achieve the RM50k annual spend (DUH !!!).

Subsequently I requested ask to cancel the card.... at least 2 days to revert and cancel the card.
*
Too bad on the waiver request.

Yeap, something is wrong with Maybank CS nowadays in terms of efficiency (emails/calls). Just few years back, they were among the best.

Then you shall not make noise out of it. Simple as that.
For the past 10 times I called them, I have no problem at all with them. Why? Because I choose the right time to call them, which is early in the morning of 2-4am.
*
Please do not post if you are here to stir things up. Good for you that you face no problem. But who are you to question that other customers cannot voice up against poor service?

Well, such question you shall point to the person who rant about this. The "ruler" to judge is the service is poor or not is different from 1 to another. Is same like you trying to judge me.
And for a card that giving out cash back with less restriction are getting lesser and lesser. So we shall not complaint but at the same time keep on using it. If not happy with it, just cancel the card, simple as that.
Is like you are eating in a hawker center, your mouth still eating it but making noise on this and that, what are you trying to get on this? A FOC meal from that hawker?
*
Exactly, different customer has different way of judging the level of service and different way of dealing with it. If cancelling the card is your way of dealing with such stuff, then why are you imposing your way to others?

If were to be a forum inspector, suggest to advise the 2292 also. Don't just simply pick on certain person that you don't like only. If want to do, be fair to all and don't be selective.
*
But 2292 is not multi posting, i would have informed him too if he multi posted and to everyone else.

What I mean is, if you want to be a forum inspector, do it properly, don't just simply pick on somebody that go against you. Or you may ask the staff here to give you editing power, so that you can merge it for me. Is not that I simply multi quote, is the friend you tried to protect never quote or tag me properly.
Also, as a fair forum inspector, is your duty to advise others do not post if just for the sake of agree or disagree. The way you pick on me, what I feel is, you are just merely a keyboard warrior that trying to look for a fight by picking up bones in an egg.
*
Like I have said, I always remind forumers to use the multi quote function. I did not click the report button, it was a reminder. You don't have to feel being picked on or anything, simply just use the quoting function in future post, that's all.

I would have reported poster 2292 too if it is a repeat offense, but from what I have checked, it is not. Also, I don't want you to feel that I am picking on those who agree with you. See the connection?

Anyway, as you can see, I did not delve further on the issue as I want to move and stick to topic, so i'd suggest you do the same.

I have checked with the forum staff beforehand. If a forumer keeps multi posting despite being reminded to use the quote function, it is considered as spamming. But here, let me reiterate that I did not click the report button.

Well, you can deny what you do, but if were to follow, you indeed always pick on certain people only, that's a fact.
Also, I stated my reason clearly already, so is no point that you missed this out with intention and insist that you keep on picking on me by not using multi quote is right.
*
When did I keep picking on you for not using the multi quote? I only made a single post reminding you to do so. If you still insist on going on about this, just report me and let mod take the necessary action. I do not need to justify further.

Remember my VS no CB case? Nothing after 10 days, just automated reply email. Escalated to Bank Negara only their officer call me say will investigate.

I dun trust the maybank cs thru call. They gave me a wrong info on my AF date previously. Maybank cs is even worse, said about prorated period. FB gave me anothet date. I escalated and ask why the 3 different dates. End up FB answer is the correct one.

Sometimes the only way is to escalate it. remember my missing CB from groceries, they only investigated and finally credited it after I escalated it to BNM and even that with no explanation nor apology.

Bro, AF date is based on which date? can share with us?
*
Sample:

VS approved in May 2015, Expiry date of the card April (due to another MBB card)
AF will be charged on April 2017 (as first year AF is waived)

So it depends on whether you are holding another earlier MBB card as it follows the expiry date

Get the bank to send a notification that your card has been cancelled. It could be in form of email/sms or letter.

QUOTE(mastering @ Aug 9 2016, 02:42 PM)
Recently I got charged annual fee for MBB VS.

I called the CS and request for waiver. The process will take 6 working days and CS asked me to check M2U to see if there is a credit. I then asked what are the criteria to get waiver and she said average monthly spend of RM2.5k over the past 6 months (for this card only, cannot combine expenditure with other cards). I am not sure if I have hit 50k annual spending for automatic waiver, but definitely average more than RM2.5k for the past 6 months.

Let's see how it goes.
*
2.5k for 6 months, no black and white, good luck
