So as title above, the atos is not mine....but borrowed for travel SP-Penang. Now my wallet affected by this car la.... everday RM10 for 48km (SP- Bkt Mertajam). Now oredi sounds ktakk ktak ktak...mechanic said maybe do full overhaul can solve problem.

Last time gearbox changed RM2.5K plus labour.....luckily, i only pay 30%...
Now got jerking abit....very worrisome.

So I'm thinking to have kelisa or kenari or savvy with manual transmission under 12k can arr? Or you guys prefer me to overhaul the Atos?


If i'm taking another car....it would be at least 5 years of usage la. The Atos will be given back to the owner. Ok la fine, the owner is my mom.

I'm a heavy user....if Atos i lanyak everyday ....surely dat Auto GB will be problematic again....then another damage to my expenses. If give back to my mom, she'll use it for town driving and short distance oni....sure lmbat sikit nak damage...hehe

recently drove 1169km wit it from cheras - kuantan - terenganu - cameron highland - kkb - cheras
used 2 tank fuel, RM150, still got 1 bar left.

never knew back then...now suffer....just pedal to the metal for 3 seconds acceleration, you can see clearly the needle fuel moving towards depletion.

ntfh beats the sensation of driving stick, not even F1 style flappy paddle.

IMO, auto for comfort, but a driver need to @ least know how to drive stick.

this wasn't always the story though.

when i forst bought the wira, it is underpowered & bad fc also.
i tot it was normal.
then got once service car, the mechanic which is also my neighbour told me my car lost a lot of horses & he did a nice service & tweaking for my car.
ever since that, my car bcom a lot more powerful & greatly increase fc.

since my cat engine bcom powerful edi, i dont hav to rep my engine which means i can change gear at lower RPM hence the good fc.

maintanence & good servicr is worth the money.

yea, if one day I got cramps during massive traffic in KL or Penang. I'm surely in deep shit.

my friend owed a atos like this , Auto one , we called that bubble car ,
remember one time we trying to sit his bubble car naik genting (around 4 person total inside car)
baru only lepas RM5 genting toll , not even naik bukit , his car already overheat , (car speed was like 40km/h only, because tekan full padel also around 40-50km/h )

Conclusion : atos is not human ride one

I have been using atos for the past 6 years, and 3 owners before that (1st car for every family member LoL) so age is 10 years already, and when baru dapat always rosak here n there. the key is to heat up engine before jalan every morning. this applies to most cars actually. now its major repairs free for like 3 years already. I started to heat up also after GB rosak n need to repair. now no problems already.

Just advice I guess because everyone seems to feel heating up the car no effect, and it is actually the most important thing to do for me.

the key to car is not about heating up.
heating up in the morning should only be around 1-2 mins. Then ride slowly.
You dont straight away ride fast2, later cannot tahan, straight away cum.

when it comes to auto gb, main rules: Dont put D while in Traffic Light.

I think you dont know the situation....the car is not mine, it's hers...... its still in loan total of 33k...will end approx 3 years more. Even if there's a way to trade in car in loan with another, she don't want....so i cant say anything lar.... (i talked to her not long ago about this if got such way)
